Final days of the Kickstarter Demo with new content!

There's just 10 days left in the StarCrawlers Chimera Kickstarter campaign and we are 85% of the way to our goal - it's been a whirlwind. If you were waiting to back, there's still time to grab spots in Alpha or a Beta copy at a discount! We've been busy adding feedback and fixes into the demo build you've all been playing, and we've just added in some bonus content for the final stretch :

The Widow's Lair

Located in the south-west corner of the demo map, the Widow's Lair appears empty at first inspection, but explorers who uncover enough of the map will face a powerful foe who drops a key to reveal what's lurking in the Lair. Word of warning : save that game before you use the key. If you've already defeated the powerful foe in your save, don't worry - the key will be waiting for you somewhere in the Lair. Crawlers Wanted: high pay, certain risk. Plausible deniability a must.

Build a crew of renegade adventurers on the fringes of space, taking jobs from megacorps to hunt bounties, sabotage rivals and conduct corporate espionage. If you can navigate the intricate politics of wealth and power, you might just survive long enough to spend your hard-won credits.

You’re a Crawler, and that means you work for those that can pay. Asset recovery, commercial espionage, and mayhem for hire are just a few of your crew’s specialized services. If something shady needs doing, chances are a Crawler will be involved. Succeed and you’ll be rewarded with better pay then any corp drone can dream of. Plus, you'll earn the respect of the eclectic assortment of merchants, opportunists and adventurers who make their home in the fringes of space.
