Reworked the shield mechanism, replacing the previous collision slow-down.

Now, colliding while sprinting will consume shields.
After a period of time, the shields will automatically regenerate.
Bursts and dashes will also regenerate shields, with dashes regenerating two layers and bursts regenerating 1-3 layers depending on the energy consumed.
When there are no shields, subsequent collisions will reduce health.

Modified all upgrades and items related to the shield.

Reworked the effects for upgrades and taking damage.
Added new effects for revival and death.

Added two new upgrades:

Rock Rolling Sands:
Shoot out shattered rocks to knock enemies away while sprinting.

Earthshaking Five Peaks (an advanced version of "Heavier than Mount Tai"):
A new mechanism, only available after unlocking all the previous upgrades in the upgrade tree.
Can be upgraded after obtaining all the "Heavier than Mount Tai" upgrades, vibrations will produce aftershocks.

Reworked two upgrades:

Soft Flow, Weak Water reworked into Winding Stream:
The character can now circle around a point.
"You can't stop... but you can turn around."

Stone Cracking Eggs:
Now entirely focused on enhancing knockback.

Now invincible for 0.5 seconds when the swordsman parries.
Divine Edge 1: Sword Rain cooldown time changed from 0.8, 0.6, 0.5, 0.4 seconds to 0.8, 0.6, 0.4, 0.3 seconds.
Divine Edge 3: Impact loss time changed from 1.5, 1.2, 0.9, 0.6 seconds to 1.5, 1, 0.5, 0.1 seconds.
Divine Edge 5: Invincibility prep time changed from 16, 14, 12, 10 seconds to 15, 12, 9, 6 seconds. Sword Rain interval changed from 1 second to 1, 0.8, 0.6, 0.5 seconds.

Other Updates:

Optimized the performance of some visual effects.

UI Remake

After revamping the UI, there might be some issues with the English display. Once we've fixed the main bugs, we'll update the multi-language support.

RoadMap

Upcoming updates will be posted on our main page. In short:

We'll focus on fixing existing bugs first. Also, we're working on improving elite monsters and some features in the game's encyclopedia, along with some minor tweaks.

Every week, we'll rework 1-2 characters and their corresponding upgrades.

Once the basic rework is done and the game is stable, we'll look into overhauling the foundation to completely address the lag issues.

Game Update

Regarding gameplay, we've tweaked monster health. Difficulty has been ramped up to level 15, and most of the upgrades have been beefed up.

UI Remake

We've redesigned all the UI, making everything look clearer.


Now, you can adjust the difficulty in both character and map selection. When using a controller, pressing the A button will select and jump to the continue button.



Once you've unlocked items and upgrade weights, you can tweak them in the item talent screen. Each character has their own settings. In the item bar, left-click to carry items and right-click to cancel. Unlocking talents lets you carry more. In the weight column, left-click to increase the appearance rate, right-click to decrease.


We've added a few different UI styles in the game interface. You can adjust your preferences in settings. We're really not sure which one's the best, so we'll tweak it based on your feedback.




The pause menu is clearer now; you can see all upgrades at a glance.


We'll also gradually add to the game's encyclopedia in the future.
