The Blood Mage is now one year old!
After 6 updates to the game I think it is the most polished game I made so far. What started out as a gamejam for the Dungeon Crawler Jam 2023 was quickly turned into a full-fledged small game. I got a lot of good feedback on this and not a single copy of the game is returned yet.
After playing Myth Bearer and especially Deep Rune I wanted to take the concept of a Fixed Value Strategy game and to base it in a 3D Dungeon Crawler environment which hasn't been done before (afaik). I also really like the idea that mana is also your health so every spell you cast is a bit of a threat to yourself.

The Blood Mage is a turn-based Puzzle/RPG hybrid where you need to find a path to the powerful blood crystal.
You play as a blood mage which means that every spell you cast is draining your life essence; your health doubles as your mana pool.
The path you take and the order in which you encounter the fights is the puzzle you need to solve. You can use everything strategically, items and enemies alike. It is normal that you have to restart more than once. Next time you will get further!
