EDIT: Valve has responded to my request. January 2nd is when the game should become free-to-play. The game will become free on January 1st given that Valve processes my request in time and as long as there aren't any hiccups along the way. If you can't wait that long - though I imagine I speak to no one as I say this - maybe wait for a sale instead! I originally priced Stick and Balls at $5 because I valued the time I spent creating it. What I failed to properly ponder, however, is how others value their time. Very few are willing to spend $5 for this - um - experience, and I don't blame them. Truthfully, I knew this from the start, but rose-tinted glasses for my abjectly agonizing creation made it difficult to see things clearly. To the few crazed individuals who purchased Stick and Balls, thank you! I truly wish it were within my capabilities to offer refunds now that it's becoming free. How you made it past the art, music, and design reminiscent of a bad flash game, and the various warnings that this game values difficultly over fun, is beyond me, but I'm very happy there was a small audience who felt it was worth the price tag! steamhappy
So, I was going to do a big update when the game hit 100 downloads, but it's not looking like that's happening anytime soon lol. That's still on my radar, but in the meantime I added much needed achievements and fixed bugs that slipped passed into the first release.
