Greetings, Portal Wanderers! We have some important news to share regarding the launch of Portal Fantasy. After much consideration and in response to the awesome feedback from you guys and seeing many of the streamers who have showcased our game, we've decided to reschedule our launch date from April 3rd to April 16th.
Greeting Portal Wanderers!
Its been an amazing ride over the past year with you guys playing the Portal Fantasy demo and weve loved seeing so many of you jump in, explore the Kingdom of Pyli, capture creatures, and help shape the games development with your feedback.
But in the same you dispel Porbles at the fusion altar, so we must dispel the demo before the full launch on the 3rd of April.
The demo will only be available until this weekend, as we begin final preparations for the full launch! If you havent played it yet, nows your last chance to dive in and get a feel for the world before the portals close (for now).
Will your progress be carried on to the full version? Great question! Over the past year, weve made significant improvements to game balance, quest progression, and overall consistency across the game. Because of these major changes, progress made in the demo wont carry over to the full version as it would break the game for the majority of you. We know thats a bummer for some but its all in service of making Portal Fantasy the best it can be.
We originally were hoping to be able to keep it but realized that with over 200.000 players it would be impossible to ensure every game would be perfect.
But wait! Theres good news. To thank everyone who supported us during the demo period, all demo players will receive a special Jellyfish Familiar when the full game launches! Its our little way of saying: you were here from the beginning, and that means the world to us (and to JeeJee as well).
And if you have any redeem codes worry not, your Toadshoom suits and capybara can be redeemed again in the full version.
No Demo Next Week, But... Big Things Ahead!
Next week may feel a little quiet without the demo, but dont worry were not going anywhere. In fact, were gearing up to share something very exciting: our brand-new trailer and our roadmap for Portal Fantasy future updates. Stay tuned its almost time to open the next set of portals and discover new porbles, quests and biomes.

Minis are cosmetic only but can you really resist acquiring this cute little guy? And have we mentioned it is a limited-time event? Don't miss it because after the 13th you won't be able to get it anymore.
As we mentioned before the progress will not be reset so if you acquire this pet he will stay with you after the full release.

We know that you are here to check out the first view on evolutions so we won't use many words and let you focus on the pretty pictures.
Evolution is still not present in the demo, (although that may change soon, now that we have started to open part of the fusion room) but we can reveal some things about it.
Many games these days use AI or purchased pre-made assets from stores. And we are not here to judge anyone. There are many valid reasons for this (economical, time saving, etc).
The question is what about Portal Fantasy? Well in this magical world we have crafted for you we have used no artificial intelligence or purchased assets at any point to craft this experience for you.
We believe in the old-school magic of human creativity. Each pixel is handcrafted with love, all assets are made by our artists and each note is composed for our melodies that'll have you humming for days.
And to top it all we are [strike]insane[/strike] demanding. So we made our own engine so have no limitations in terms of imagination. Just those random pesky bugs we occasionally find. But even those are temporary limitations.
Our team of talented artists, designers, musicians, and writers have been pouring their hearts and souls into every pixel, note, and word because we want you to feel the warmth of the creativity that went into making this game.
We believe that Portal Fantasy should feel like it is crafted by human hands and fueled by human dreams. Or nightmares...depending on what we are producing.

Because we know it's more fun to try things by yourself than read about them we will avoid spoilers and only mention here the highlights of what is available for you in the demo
Next week we will release our first demo and you know what that means?
That's right! It's time the start your adventure (even if it is just a small taste of it) and start catching some porbles.
But in order to do that, you will need to get to JeeJee so she can help you with your starter Porble.
As is the tradition in monster catching games you will be able to choose between 3 different porbles from different elements.
So let's meet them
Picture this. You are about to start an epic adventure that will change not only your fate but the fate of the world. What is the first thing you need to take care of? That's right! Make sure you look fabulous.
That is the case in Portal Fantasy. Before you face the world and even think about catching your first porble you will have the chance to decide on how you look to the world using our Character Creator system
From head to toe, you can choose your favourite style.
Did you ever look at a game level and think "Well that is a nice map, but if I was the one making it I would do this instead"?
In that case, we have something cool to show you.
Presenting the Architect.
As an Architect you will be able to build your own levels for yourself, your friends, and other players to play. Although what we are about to show you is still a limited early version of it, we were way too excited to not reveal it already.
So keep in mind the following:
As you advance in the world of Portal Fantasy you will find harder enemies and challenges. But as a Hero, you will have your Porbles next to you, and with your guidance, they will keep leveling up and get stronger.
But sometimes leveling alone isn't enough. That is where Majesty comes into play.
Majesty is a ranking system. Most Porbles you will find will be at level 0 of Majestiy. But you can increase it with the help of the fusion room and some...sacrifices.
Following recipes that use other Porbles and materials you can harvest all over the world, you will be able to increase the Majesty of your Porbles. There are even rumors that with the right ingredients, some Porbles can obtain a new look.
Fusion will be available to any Hero that reaches Valeria, but you will have to use it strategically because beyond paying the price of sacrificing Porbles and other ingredients the Fusion Room will have a cooldown period before a new use. You know to recharge all the magical and technonlogical energy.

Hello and welcome to the first of many development updates posts, where we show you what we are working on and features not yet seen.
Today we bring you the dungeons.
Dungeons are separate areas where your skills will be challenged in every way.
You will have puzzles to solve, platforms to jump, and traps to dodge in order to progress.
If your skills are truly epic, you will reach the end and face a boss. But you won't be alone in this challenge. Your porbles will be there by your side to defeat this opponent. Will you show the world you are worthy of the Hero title?
Right now the Dungeons (yes there is more than one) are being tested. And because a dungeon is not a dungeon without a fancy ominous entrance those are being created too (below you can see some of it's concept art)
