Hello, this is Team Samoyed. This patch includes improvements on character-specific stage progress sharing requested in the previous patch, stage balance adjustments, and simulation AI enhancements. Characters can now progress through stages uniformly, but badge achievements will be noted separately. Additionally, AI improvements have been made to ensure clones do not take excessively long paths.
Hello from Team Samoyed. After the release, we've taken your feedback into consideration to decide the direction of our patches. First off, we're planning changes to the AI, which was the most frequently pointed out issue. Our initial intention with the AI was to have characters cook with as little downtime as possible and, through path restrictions, allow players to control the cooking process and enjoy optimizing their strategy. However, this led to situations where, in the absence of a nearby available tool, the AI would opt for a tool farther away instead of waiting for the nearest one to become available, causing players to feel that the AI was making odd decisions. To address this, we're preparing changes to the AI logic. However, completing all cooking processes through AI simulation means that simply using nearby tools doesn't fully address the gameplay issues, so improving this aspect will require a lot of effort and time. Despite the challenge, we will do our best to ensure that the AI does not engage in actions that players would perceive as strange. Additionally, contrary to our intentions, many players felt fatigued by the individual stage progression for each character, so we've made it so that all characters share the same stage progression. As for crashes occurring during play, while we've managed to fix a significant portion, crashes happening right after the game starts are rare cases related to Steam API integration, which might take some time to resolve. We will do our best to fix these issues as quickly as possible.
Hello, this is Team Samoyed. Currently, we are experiencing a persistent crashing issue that only occurs in specific PC environments. It has been challenging to accurately define the environment and identify the cause, which has led to delays in resolving the issue. Therefore, to allow players to continue their game after a crash, we have prioritized the development of a mid-game save feature and have included it in this patch. We will do our best to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Additionally, if you experience a crash, it would be greatly helpful for resolving the issue if you could compress the entire folder found at the path below and send it to us at teamsamoyed@gmail.com , along with your PC specifications and environment. - Fixed a bug where money was not being returned when using the piggy bank. - Corrected a bug where the satisfaction decrease effect of handcuffs was set abnormally high. - Addressed a bug causing minor tremors when using a game pad. - Fixed a bug where setting and updating records in Chaos Stage levels were not functioning properly. - Stabilized some crash bugs. Upcoming Convenience Improvements - A feature to hide the upgrade UI to better understand the current status. - A mid-game save feature during stage play. - Background mute functionality. - A timer and a feature to compare performance with the most recent results before layout adjustments in the "Check Cooking Progress" section. - Shortcut keys for switching tools in the arrangement adjustment mode. Known Bugs - Unusual game terminations due to compatibility issues, the situation is recognized but finding a clear cause is difficult and it only occurs in specific environments, hence resolution is delayed. - A bug that stops the cooking process in certain special situations. - A bug where appliance warning displays the wrong target in some situations. - A bug causing severe frame drops with certain upgrade combinations. - A bug that causes the game to abnormally terminate when starting a game on or beyond Day 17 during a custom map test play. It's been a while since we've released Teamfight Manager, and we're both excited and nervous to greet you with new project. However, we can confidently say that we have done our best to create an original and fun gameplay experience. Kitchen Crisis is a game that requires consideration of various elements including the placement of cooking appliances, types and timing of upgrades, attributes, and characteristics of aliens. It might feel somewhat difficult and complex, but we hope you find joy in pondering these elements. Once you're familiar with the game, custom maps and workshop features are also prepared, so you can create even more challenging and fun stages and content!
