This is the last demo before the game gets released in Early Access! I will only do updates on this demo to fix big issues. This means... the release of the game is coming! However, the release date is still undefined, but we can start saying is coming soon! New features
- Added current creatures and plants catalog menu.
- Added creatures and plants evolution tree screens.
- Added corpses on dead creatures locations.
- Added new creature view menu to show more details.
- Added new plant view menu to show more details.
- Added new lifeform creation menu, to get adapted to the new Cell Stage (not available in this demo).
- Added random names to creature species.
- Added new animations to creatures.
- Added manual bars to Planet Config menu to change core heat, albedos, etc by just moving a slider.
- Added mutation rate bar to Planet Config menu.
- Added snow ambient for walking camera.
- Added raining particles.
- Showing planet time.
- Improved creature models and texturing system, showing more details and colors now.
- Improved the way the creature related notifications are showed, specially in walking camera (damage points, reproduction hearth, etc).
- Improved fire implementation and visuals.
- Limit skin types based on the chosen skeleton.
- Improved mutation algorithm and creatures behavior to increase the ecosystem diversity.
- Brighter clouds and less dense atmosphere when walking the planet, improving visibility.
- Improved performance when changing camera zoom.
- Improved game performance when moving camera with a lot of creatures in screen.
- Improved game performance when using the walking camera.
- Improved underwater visuals.
- Decreased the size of the creatures in the bigger sizes, because from specific sizes they were too problematic.
- With medium or higher air humidity, dust go down to land faster.
- Improved help copy in some points.
- Some other visual improvements.
- Fixed all elevation issues related to creatures of different sizes, flying, etc during the walking camera.
- Fixed pop-up issues in walking camera.
- Fixed water rendering issues, specially when walking under water.
- Remove lava and fire from global planet temperature calculations.
- Fixed bug showing data layers with wrong size.
- Fixed lifebar visualization issues in walking camera.
