At long last, Rocket is now available for all to play! Rocket is a Bullet Hell, High Stakes Arcade Shooter & Score Chaser. Use your skills to survive the onslaught of asteroids, enemies, black holes and the chaos of rockets and bombs everywhere. Upgrade your ship over time and enjoy the challenge. How high can you score? I wanted to thank every player who helped give feedback for the Demo over the last year. Your feedback and been very important in turning the game into what it is now. I hope everyone who ends up playing Rocket, will come to like the game!

What's Next?

Now that Rocket is available in Early Access, you may be wondering what's next for the game. Well, 1 of the 1st major updates to come will occur in early March with the introduction of a new Game Mode called "Arcade." This will be a bit more arcadey game mode where you are started off with no upgrades and as you destroy asteroids & enemies, new upgrades will appear in front of you for you to take. This will lead to some fun chaotic and randomized gameplay that is sure to become fun. That is just 1 of several game modes in the works. Along with that, there are other plans for more updates including new ship upgrades as well as Online additions. These are just some of the new additions planned for the game.

About Rocket!

This is an arcade style space shooter game, with heavy influences from the classic Atari game Asteroids as well as the gameplay fun and challenge of a Bullet Hell / Shoot Em Up. As you shoot down asteroids and fire on various enemy ships, you will gain various resources you will need to upgrade your ship with more powerful weapons and various upgrades. Don't forget to avoid space anomalies like black holes and supernovas!

Work toward upgrading your ship each time you play. Each play through builds up resources you can use to power up your ship, allowing you to score higher and explore further. Maximize your ship’s power to rank high on the online leaderboards!

Local Co-Op

Got an extra controller and a friend nearby? Check out the local co-op! Just pop in that second controller while playing and your buddy will join in on the fun. Can you both survive the depths and get a high score?

This game is perfect for Steam's Remote Play Together as well! Invite your friend to play through the magic of Steam without being in the same room!
