New Game Mode: Arcade
This is just 1 of many new updates you can expect for the next few months. You will be able to find new game modes, enemies, achievements, ship upgrades and overall features added. But here is what is in the cards right now: Survive Mode - This will be similar to Arcade Mode, you start with nothing. Here you are given limited resources & no rocket regen. You will need to survive X amount of time in each level to advance to the next level. Every time you survive a level, you will be given a popup allowing you to choose 1 of 3 Ship Upgrade options. Each new Level takes a little more time and your rockets will be refilled. Don't have to defeat all the enemies or asteroids here, just need to survive and get out of harms way long enough to advance to the next level. This should make for some fun challenging gameplay. Expect to be able to play this new game mode sometime by May or June. New Ship Upgrades - You can expect several new fun Ship Upgrades to come to the game in the next few months. These will be sprinkled throughout the various weekly updates to the game. Here are some of the various new upgrades in the works:

The next big update for Rocket is now available! This update introduces the new Arcade Mode to the game. Unlike the other 3 game modes (Classic, Cadet, Galactic Hero), you will start with no upgrades each new play session. With just sing shot rockets at your disposal, you will need to survive in the deadly vastness of space. As you start shooting down asteroids and enemies, Upgrade pop ups will appear in the game allowing you to power up instantly. Each new playthrough will be completely random and chaotic and should bring about a lot of fun. This new update also adds 3 brand new Achievements to the game. Each of the new Achievements is related to playing the new game mode. I'm looking forward to everyone unlocking these new achievements and playing the game.

- Shield - A protective upgrade that temporarily prevents you from taking damage
- Score Multiplier - An upgrade that will increase the Score you get in the game at the cost of having the game be harder.

About Rocket!
This is an arcade style space shooter game, with heavy influences from the classic Atari game Asteroids as well as the gameplay fun and challenge of a Bullet Hell / Shoot Em Up. As you shoot down asteroids and fire on various enemy ships, you will gain various resources you will need to upgrade your ship with more powerful weapons and various upgrades. Don't forget to avoid space anomalies like black holes and supernovas!
Work toward upgrading your ship each time you play. Each play through builds up resources you can use to power up your ship, allowing you to score higher and explore further. Maximize your ship’s power to rank high on the online leaderboards!
Local Co-Op
Got an extra controller and a friend nearby? Check out the local co-op! Just pop in that second controller while playing and your buddy will join in on the fun. Can you both survive the depths and get a high score?
This game is perfect for Steam's Remote Play Together as well! Invite your friend to play through the magic of Steam without being in the same room!
