Developers' notes: We apologise for the lack of updates and communication these past few months. We've been hard at work with the process of porting Roguematch to consoles to line up with the full release of the game on the consoles as well as Steam. However, that required us to undertake an overhaul of the game's internal game engine so we were not able to push out updates as frequently as we would have liked to because we still needed to ensure the full game would be in a playable state after the overhaul was completed. We have quite a number of features that have been compiled from the past few months of work put into this patch and we hope to be able to move back to more frequent game and communication updates regarding the game soon. Tech - Internal game engine overhaul to improve memory performance overall Design - Shaded enemy now is now only invulnerable for 2 turns instead of 3 - Anti-Shadow Reaction spell now does damage equal to the amount of Calm Mana the player possesses as opposed to the amount of the player's Calm Mana match damage - Roc now blows tornados to the other end of the room rather than only blowing tornadoes on tile away Polish - Various improvements to the visual presentation of the tutorial - Implemented more accurate SFX for certain actions/menus - Implemented mouse navigation for Fast Travel menu - Added spell info overlays when player is selecting spells/items - Improved visual presention of selecting and targeting spells/items - Added better visual indicators when Shaded/Jaded/Faded enemies are invulnerable - Modified the appearence of the buttons for spells/items depending on the type of item - Added visual indicator when enemies consume mana pieces - Added visual indicator when Mana Crystals absorb mana pieces - Added better indicators to show that enemies were immune to certain attacks - Added visual indicators to show the activation progress of certain spells/items - Added button icons for controllers - Tweaks to the animations for Lavaiathan - Implemented additional VFX when player/enemies get hit - Updated the images used for the opening cutscene Bugfix - Honestly they're too many bugfixes included in this patch that we would not be able to fully identify all of them in the patch notes
