Hey everyone,\n\nLet me show you some cool updates and behind the scenes snippets of what we\'ve been up to since the last newsletter:

Were starting out strong with an opportunity for you to get involved in deciding on a new key art for our new Steam capsule! The game has evolved quite a bit since the first key art and even though it still slaps, we felt that its time for a breath of fresh air. These are the three sketches our 2D artist Astor has come up with:

The old/current key art shows Slice (on the left) and Zer0 (on the right) who were the first two characters added to the game. Zer0 is the main protagonist in the story behind Resistance 204X.\n\nIn the first sketch we kept close to the story of Resistance 204X and exchanged Slice with Zer0\'s main opponent Sargon7.\n\nThe second and third sketch show all 10 characters that we plan on having in the game, to potentially have the key art be a bit more dynamic and representative of what to expect from the game.

Testing our new rushdown character!
Last week Julio and our intern Finn tested the upcoming fighter Paint in the office. Using only his kicks for attacking, he allows for very fun and fast gameplay, with a focus on mobility and opportunities for long combos. Dont worry, he is gonna get a proper texture soon. \n

A lot of effort is also going into the storymode, lots and lots of storyboarding and drawing all the panels for that.
