- Active modules are disabled after jump to White Star

Over the past 2 years, we've been hard at work strengthening the foundation of Hades' Star, so that the game can remain popular and viable for many more years in the future. The result of this effort is called Hades' Star: DARK NEBULA, a massive update to the game that is coming soon to Steam.
There are multiple posts at blog.hadesstar.com, describing the motivations, design goals and development process that went on during these years to give the update its final shape. You can review those if you want to dig deeper. However, most players will want to see how their daily gameplay will change, and what to do to keep progressing in the game at an optimal rate. Hades' Star: DARK NEBULA on Steam Deck
The Steam Deck is a wonderful device that is perfect for games like Hades' Star. We have experimented a lot with it, and have created a completely new version of the game to suit the hardware. We found early on that the Steam Deck does not offer a great touch experience, so instead we've focused on a gamepad-exclusive interface. We can't wait to show you soon how well the game works on the device.

Hades' Star: DARK NEBULA is currently scheduled for release on October 30, as an update to the current Hades' Star game on PC and Mac. Unforeseen issues may push this date back. The custom, Linux-native Steam Deck build will launch along with this update, and we aim to have it verified as fully compatible at launch or shortly after. A major update has been deployed to the game. Summary of changes:
Red Star Level 11, comes with a new Cerberus enemy and support module.
Credit Asteroids permanently increase daily Credit income - find them once per day on every Red Star level 2 and higher.

Build and upgrade your Corporation Flagship, and strategically pick what White Star battles to take it to.
Time Machine improvements.
Ability to instantly re-link all Warp Lane hubs to their previous connections.
Transports can now be ordered to start moving only after all their Artifacts are done loading.

Private Red Stars are a great way to get fellow Corporation members to help you out and maximize your Artifact collection. Now is a great time to start looking for a good Corporation whose members work well together and play Red Stars cooperatively. On November 25, the 5th private Red Star season event begins. During the event, all private Red Stars will award event points to your Corporation, according to the star level, number of artifacts retrieved and Cerberus ships destroyed. The event lasts a week. At the end, the top 200 Corporations (over 5,000 players) will receive Crystal rewards. To see the event countdown timer, and for exact rewards information, open the Leaderboards window in game, select Top Corporations, then press the Red Star button. There's a dedicated channel where the best Corporations advertise - or you can describe your play style and let the best Corporation contact you instead. As a young college student, I spent countless hours playing Master of Orion. Now that I'm older, I'm finding I no longer have the continuous time required to play and enjoy it.
Hades' Star is my attempt to capture some of the promise of Master of Orion,
in a way that's compatible with my current time limitations. In Hades' Star, instead of starting a new game every time, you continue building on your previous progress - regardless if you last played 30 minutes ago or months ago. Instead of requiring hours to enjoy a session, most missions last from 5 to 20 minutes. If something happens and you have to go away from the game, your ships will carry out your orders in the meantime. Depth comes naturally over time as you progress your Empire, not by requiring you to navigate extreme complexity up front.
At the core of the game's design are our three core pillars:

Estrelas Amarelas
Por ser o tipo de estrela mais estável, a Estrela Amarela oferece um cenário perfeito para estabelecer sua presença permanente e planejar a economia do seu Império a longo prazo. Todos os novos jogadores começam num sistema de Estrela Amarela próprio e, ao longo do tempo, expandem para descobrir e colonizar mais planetas, estabelecer padrões de mineração e rotas de comércio, e neutralizar as naves alienígenas misteriosas que vagam pela galáxia de Hades.
Como proprietário de um sistema de Estrela Amarela, você tem controle total sobre o acesso dele a outros jogadores. Ao estabelecer relações diplomáticas, você pode permitir um jogador a enviar naves ao seu sistema, bem como ditar seus próprios termos sobre mineração, comércio ou cooperação militar.
Estrelas Vermelhas
Nos primeiros momentos do jogo, cada jogador construirá um sensor de Estrelas Vermelhas, uma estação que permite às naves saltarem para Estrelas Vermelhas detectadas. Essas estrelas têm um tempo de vida curto e entrarão em supernova após 15 minutos.
O objetivo na Estrela Vermelha é cooperar com outros jogadores que tenham naves naquele sistema estelar, derrotar as naves NPC, recuperar artefatos de planetas na Estrela Vermelha e saltar de volta antes que ocorra a supernova. Os artefatos podem ser pesquisados na sua estrela de origem, oferecendo os recursos necessários para o comércio, mineração e avanços no combate. Estrelas Vermelhas de níveis mais altos oferecem mais inimigos desafiadores e recompensas melhores.
Estrelas Brancas
Os jogadores podem organizar-se em Corporações. Além de ajudar umas às outras, as Corporações também podem procurar Estrelas Brancas. Uma Estrela Branca comporta até 40 jogadores de duas Corporações em batalha por Relíquias no mesmo sistema estelar, as quais podem ser usadas para melhorar a Corporação e dar benefícios extras a cada membro.
O tempo passa muito lentamente em Estrelas Brancas: cada partida dura até 5 dias, dando tempo aos membros da Corporação para discutir e coordenar uma estratégia. A Máquina do Tempo pode ser usada para planejar os passos futuros, comunicá-los aos membros da Corporação e prever os resultados de um combate futuro.
Estrelas Azuis
Essas estrelas vivem apenas 5 minutos, durante os quais o sistema inteiro começa a entrar em colapso. Cada jogador pode enviar apenas um encouraçado à Estrela Azul. Os 5 jogadores participantes batalham entre si, usando os módulos da nave e outras naves NPC para destruir as naves do outro jogador na tentativa de ser o último sobrevivente.
As Estrelas Azuis oferecem a ação JxJ mais rápida do jogo. Os participantes frequentes recebem recompensas diárias e mensais para o desenvolvimento do Império.
