Imagine Earth is a real-time planet simulation and a build up strategy game. Your job as a space colony manager is to explore and populate distant planets. Build up thriving and profitable colonies on a global scale and trade resources and goods into space.

Profits vs. Ecocide
You will experience a massive conflict between the profit goals of the interstellar corporations and the need to preserve living conditions for your people. Exhaust emissions and ground pollution impact the global climate as your colony is growing. Increasing temperatures melt down polar caps and your colonies are destroyed by rising sea levels.
Expansion & Research
Raise great cities and satisfy their appetite for resources by building power plants, farms and factories. Dig for ideon crystals, pacify riots, research technologies and constructs and maximize your growth while maintaining a healthy ecosystem.
Allies, Threats & Enemies
Get ready to deal with threats like asteroid strikes, twisters, wild fires, volcanoes and rising sea levels. Fend off space raiders and alien investors. Coexist and trade with natives, merchants and hostile colonies.
Capitalist Space Age
In 2048 huge corporations have divided Earth among themselves and exploited its natural resources to a large extent. Now the discovery of ideon crystals allows journeys into space, while technologically and ideologically almost everything remains the same. The laws of the market are being spread into the universe.
Competition and Economic Warfare.
On each discovered planet a competition for economic dominance breaks out. To expand your colony as fast as possible and overcome your opponents you exploit the freely available fossil resources and minerals. Additional money is provided by selling shares of your colony. Take over opposing companies by buying up their shares.
Trade Resources and Technologies
Merchants and technology traders organize the interplanetary trade and will happily buy all minerals and resources you extract from your territory while selling expensive technologies. The same goes for cooperating colonies and alien tribes that live on some of the planets.Features
- Global and realtime world experience instead of playing on limited square maps
- Fully playable and story based campaign with 9 planets / missions
- Competition game mode to play against up to 5 other AI factions with individual agendas
- Over 50 constructs with more than 80 individual upgrades

Warm greetings from an otherwise rather cold Germany, but winter is helping us keep a cool head as we tinker away at the next DLC for Imagine Earth. This is me officially announcing the \"Transformation\" DLC before we get to the specific update :-)

Transformation DLC
The DLC features a campaign in which you are part of a rescue team that wants to transform civilizations before their planets are destroyed by a climate catastrophe.

New buildings
The DLC coming early next year will finally include new ocean buildings: A wave power plant and a floating algae factory. There are slums from which you must relocate the population to modern quarters, and mountains of trash that you can recycle as a source of income. Insect farming will most certainly be introduced as a new food source, and you can create lakes to cool down the temperatures in your cities, as heat waves will be a new and threatening disaster.

But now let\'s move on to the features of the current update 1.21
Update 1.21
Forests Grow Deeper
This is a big change and makes it more interesting how you grow forests strategically: When you surround a forest with other Forest pieces they grow much bigger. Thick forests compensate much more emissions and ground pollution.

Bonus on Fossil Fields
We had to completely rework how the influence of fossil deposits on the production of power plants worked out. So far fossil power plants always had full productivity as long as there was still a neighboring field having at least 10% deposit. This is more differentiated now:
The power plant will still have full bonus when its on a fossil field with more than 50% reserve.
[/*]Down to 10% it will still have half productivity.
[/*]The same goes when the neighboring field has 50% or more reserve.
[/*]Below that it will have no more bonus.
[/*]On fields that are not near a fossil reserve it will have a malus (as it used to).

Emission Tax vs. Compensation
We have raised the CO tax to make it more relevant and change the behavior of other factions as well.
Abandoned Cities
The procedural Planet generator can now generate abandoned cities and you can also define how much they should lie in ruins.

Relocating City Districts
You can now relocate city districts without losing the complete inhabitants of a district. You can also relocate supply buildings without losing their production for a long while and thus causing panic in your population.
General Cost Reduction
We reduced the costs for planting trees and claiming land. Please see if it feels more balanced for what you get.
Chinese Voice Over
We have a Chinese Voice Over now! If you speak Chinese please give it a try and tell us what it sounds like. We were very amazed by how great automated voice over worked for the German language. The main story campaign was once translated into Chinese by a professional agency so the generated speech should make sense. The new Galaxies campaign and some menus have been translated with automated translation. We are looking forward to get your feedback on this.

We reactivated the feedback button for language translations for this. If you find a typo in some dialog click the tiny icon and it will bring you directly into the translation forum where you can request optimizations.
Beauty Fixes
The planet\'s atmosphere isnt cut on super wide screens anymore.
[/*]Weve updated to Unity Version 6 to give you a more stable game experience.
[/*]You can now zoom closer into the beautiful details of the game world.
[/*]Supply capsules are not landing on forest anymore that are then auto self destructing to make place for the capsules.
[/*]The license button is not hiding under the info box of the ring menu anymore.
[/*]
Thank you for your interest and support! Please let us know what you think of the latest version and write a review if you want to support our work!
Best
