TWL: DEFINITIVE EDITION - Road to Release #4
We’ve already talked about choices in Road to Release #1. We want to expand a little bit by talking about how choices impact the game ending. Every level is open from the beginning and replayable, but only the first choice the player take in a level will be recorded for the ending. So if you play through one level for the first time and you are dissatisfied with your choice, you can replay it any time you want, but the first choice you took is the one that’s going to influence the final ending.
Back in February 2017 The Way of Life Game Director Davide was invited by Microsoft to showcase the game at their GDC event in San Francisco. It was his first time flying. After a 16 hours flight, he swore never to set foot on a plane again.
Music is her passion. She expresses angst through her guitar. Member of the Howling Dungeon heavy metal band.

Hello! Welcome to The Way of life: DEFINITIVE EDITION road to release, stage 4! If you don’t know already, the game will be out on March 15th, after almost 3 years of development. We are going to post a new announcement every other day with a bunch of info, insights and curiosities about the game and its development. Follow us along until the game is released!
FEATURE SPOTLIGHT
We’ve already talked about choices in Road to Release #1. We want to expand a little bit by talking about how choices impact the game ending. The Way of Life makes the player relive the same life's experiences from the point of view of three characters of different ages: an adult, an old man and a child.
The experiences we want to tell about are very different, they go from a quarrel to a dream, and further to more serious topics like death and love. The main point about the game is that every experience will be told through different gameplay mechanics.
Also, every playable character has his own specific mechanics and a way to see the world.
The player throughout the game can explore and live different stories and feel a variety of emotions in an amusing and captivating experience.
