Its hard to believe, but a year has passed since we first announced Poker Warlords to the world. Time flies when youre deep in the trenches of game dev (and when the code compiles on the first try... sometimes). Weve been hard at work and weve got a lot to show for it. Steam Integration & Closed Beta

We used to send zip files around like it was 2004those days are behind us! Your MMR, coins, and game histories are now tied directly to your Steam account. No more manual updates, just smooth gaming.

Cross-Play on Multiple Platforms

Whether youre playing on Windows, Linux, or Steam Deck, you can battle it out with your friends. Steam Deck players, we see you and think Poker Warlords is going to be your new favorite game on the deck!

Art Refresh + Custom Assets

Goodbye placeholders, hello beautiful custom art! From avatars to units, Poker Warlords has been leveling up its aesthetic game across the board.

Tutorial Mode

We know learning a new game can be an undertaking. Thats why we built a snappy five-minute tutorial to get you ready to crush your opponents in no time.

Custom Discord Bot

Our bot isnt just chilling in your serverits running live leaderboards and paving the way for even deeper Discord integrations. Maybe one day itll even make memes (dont hold us to that).

Professional Music

Our new tracks slap. Big thanks to our composer Oscar Gorman-Tysoe for giving Warlords the epic soundtrack it deserves.

Animations & Customizations

The core of the game is ready to go. Now our biggest priority has been to spruce it up with updated animations, effects, and customizations. Weve been working on this in a number of ways, including: Poker chip and card animations:

If it moves, sparkles, or looks coolwere on it. Beyond all the in-game updates, weve also been running closed beta sessions and demoing Warlords at local dev meet ups and indie game nights. We also presented Warlords at our first gaming festival, PHL Gaming, in Philadelphia this past September!
