Co-Leader Rank

• A new co-leader rank has been introduced to gangs. A gang can only have one co-leader at a time.
• Users in the co-leader rank can manage the tag the same way the leader can without being able to disband, rename, or transfer the gang.
• Players are limited to co-leading a maximum of three gangs at a time.

Favorites System

• On top of hats, you can now also favorite heads, bodies, and shields which should display within their own favorites page.
• VIP members can enjoy an increased capacity of 4 favorite pages per category.
• To favorite an asset you must now long-press instead of double tapping. This is to prevent a slight delay in equipping.

Quality of Life

Shop Buying and Selling

• You can now purchase 10000 consumables at a time instead of 100. This goes for food, shovels, healing darts, and so forth.
• You can now sell custom amounts of any sellable such as shells or minerals.

Fishing

• The time to catch a fish before it escapes has been significantly increased. This should give players ample time to respond to bites.

Steam Deck

• Steam Deck's in-game zoom has been increased to give users more visibility.

General Bug Fixes

Digging Locations

• Players can now dig with the new system at South Ridge's Beach Bar location.

House Voting

• A bug which prevented previous competition winners from re-entering contests has been fixed.
• Winning the competition should now correctly prevent you from re-entering for a total of one year only.

Hat Favorites

• A bug which prevented players with a large amount of hats from being able to favorite hats has been fixed.

Item Changes and Fixes

Spartan-32

• The clip's last three bullets have had their freeze chance set to 25%. This is due to the 100% freeze chance being an unintentional oversight which lead to abuse.

Mode Saving

• Snowflake Staff will now save the last melee/gun state the player was in on re-equip.
• Anti-Matter Sword and Shield will now save the last melee/shield state the player was in on re-equip.
• Bat Wing Crossbow will now save the gun/wings state the player was in on re-equip.
• Chemical Gun will now save the slime/gun state the player was in on re-equip.
• Neutron Claws will now hold onto the enraged state on re-equip.

Star Rifle

• A bug with the Star Rifle's dash which caused it to not fire the bullet on dash and retain it in the clip has been fixed.

Balancing and General Changes

• Grave Digger's body block functionality should no longer body block the owner.
• The distance a Grave Digger's tomb must be to another spawned tomb has been increased and total tomb HP has been decreased. More in-depth changes for the item are over at our Discord.
• The Corrupt Trident's dashes have been increased from 1 to 2 and slightly shortened.
• The Manatee Mount from the Haunted Harbors event now gives a speed boost while on mount mode within the map.
• The Apocalypse Axe Gun has had a clip increase from 14 to 18. All freeze rates for reloading, mode switch, and firing have also been decreased.
• All Halloween Shop 2024 mounts can now move over water.

The veil has thinned and multiple spirits have taken refuge over at the old Holiday Building! Halloween Shop 2024 is here! We've released a massive collection of new Halloween-themed hats, items, and furniture. The shop also features a player-submitted GFX hat room and will soon be updated to house some player-submitted items. The shop will remain open until November 30th, so look for the Holiday Shop on your map and get geared up for the spooky season!

The vengeful spirits of undead sailors have stormed the coasts of Era City! Purchase a fishing rod and head to the beaches to fish. As you fish, you'll run the chance of spawning a vengeful pirate ghost! Defeat these undead foes and collect the loot they drop, which will be exchangeable for a variety of goods this year, including Gralats, Event Coins, and pirate gold. To exchange your earned loot, head on down to Pirate Zone and swim towards the ghost ship of Captain Kane found to the left. Dive down when you reach the undead captain, and you'll find yourself in a dark underwater cave! Swim to safety and you'll be greeted by the ghost crew of a sunken pirate vessel. Within this ship you'll be able to exchange your loot for currency. Gold coins can be traded in at two shops this year for a range of hats, items, and furniture. All melees this year will be untradeable and are subject to stat changes based off player feedback. If you do not have the fishing license to partake, we will be looking into enabling ghost pirates for digging to everyone while the event runs! It's that time of the year again! Trick or treating is live on Era again. There are 8 major door areas to trick or treat at scattered across the map. Grind knocks with your friends to earn hats and candy. This year there will be:

• 10 unique hats to earn by knocking
• 6 new candy foods to obtain with each knock
• A special Grave Digger melee reward for hitting 7000 knocks

Era gangs have a received two major updates: Audit logging and a new co-leader rank! This release sets the stage for additional gang-focused updates that will be coming to the game in the future.

Audit Logs

• Gang leaders are now able to purchase audit logs for their gang within the gang's settings menu. The cost to enable is a one-time fee of 10000 G$.
• The system will track all of the different decisions made by you or your members in the past couple days or months from kicking to recruiting and more.
• Gang leaders are now able to toggle a "View Audit Logs" permission for individual members.

Co-Leader Rank

• A new co-leader role has been introduced to gangs. The co-leader will be able to do everything the leader can with the exception of disbanding or renaming or transferring gang ownership. This means the co-leader is able to set permissions and rank for the rest of the gang roster and manage the tag.
• You will see the option to promote a member to co-leader while viewing their rank and permissions.
• Gangs are limited to only one co-leader role at a time. Assigning another co-leader will demote the previous co-leader and remove their permissions.

Planned Updates

• Specific member tracking will come to gangs soon. This will provide gang leaders with metrics into the total time a member has spent in a base or on tag.
• New gang rewards are also in planning. You can leave suggestions for reward updates within the official community Discord server here: Official Discord

Players are now able to rent Gralat weapons from a variety of different gun shops across Era before deciding to permanently purchase one! You'll be able to choose between a three-day rental and a seven-day rental when choosing a weapon to rent. Depending on the length of the rent you can expect to pay only three or five percent of the weapon's total cost per rental. This will allow you to try out and get a feel for any gun for only a small fraction of the cost before deciding to commit towards obtaining it. You can only rent three different items at a time and will have to wait for a rental to end before being able to rent an additional item.

New Features

Gun Rentals

• Players now have the option to "Rent" a large variety of weapons from shops across the map. Use this to try items before deciding to purchase them permanently.
• Shop items can be rented out for three or seven days at only a tiny fraction of their "Buy" price.
• Players are limited to a maximum of three rentals at a time. After an item's rent period is over it will be removed from your inventory.

Gang Audit Logs

• An audit log system has been added to the game for gangs. It'll log and sort through several different member actions from recruits to kicks.
• To enable audit logging gang leaders will have to make a one time purchase of 10000 G$ from their gang's settings menu.
• "View Audit Logs" has been added as an individual member permission.

Favorite Hats

• You can now favorite hats by double tapping or clicking the hat within your hat pages. Double tap or click again to remove them from your favorites.
• You can view your favorite hats within a separate menu accessed within your hat pages. The current limit for hat favorites is 18 hats.

Quality of Life

Auction Rework

• The in-game auction house has been relocated and visually reworked. Hosted items will also now display their animations and abilities at the center of each host room.
• Era's auction system has been reworked to combat macro usage and keep bids fair by introducing a bid timer and cool-down.
• When inside the Auction House during a host players will now receive PMs about each item hosted along with their room location and item statistics.

Trash Picking

• Trash picks have been re-coded to account for inconsistencies in their pick-up range. All trash picks should now have the same "Range".
• This means all trash picks regardless of sprite will feel more consistent and be easier to pick trash with.

PM Clearing

• You can now type "/clearpms" or "/cleargangpms" in overhead chat to clear your PMs or gang PMs respectively.

Trade Tables

• There is now a 2 second cool-down before you can add or remove items to a table.

Digging

• Several sections of the map have been re-enabled for digging and will also use the new digging system.

Steam Bug Fixes

Reverse Keys and Gas

• Key reversal and confusion gas type effects will now function when used on PC players.

General Bug Fixes

Food

• Food will no longer freeze you in place while the animation plays and fail to heal you. Eating food to heal should now be much more consistent.

Multitasking and Combat

• The multitasking option on iOS devices will now deactivate while within a base to prevent combat logging.
• The time to warp out of a base on-pause has also been increased to five seconds.

Speed Boost Ability

• The speed boost abilities of several melees should no longer persist for too long while changing levels or swapping items.

Specific Item Fixes

• Damage for Flux Energy Sword's main mode has been fixed.
• The Pirate Cutlass' cannonball ability should no longer hit you multiple times.
• Vanquisher's train attack should now deal consistent damage. Note that this ability is ping-dependent.

New Features

Worker's License

• Going forwards jobs like digging or Speedy's Pizza will require a work license to do. This means you'll need to grind other jobs like car missions or trash picking to unlock major jobs like digging or pizzas.
• Some trade restrictions have been instated for brand new or low-stat accounts.
• You'll receive a checklist for job progress towards your new license when trying to perform locked jobs. License requirements and new account restrictions may change over time.

Daily Quests System

• Weekly and monthly grinds have been added to the Daily Quests section found in the "Feedback" phone menu! You'll earn far more currency upon the completion of a weekly or monthly quest.

Quality of Life

Multitask System

• The automatic warp-on-pause system in bases has been tweaked. You'll no longer warp out instantly and now have three seconds to return to the game before you're warped.
• This change tackles combat logging and being warped out for receiving notifications. The change may come to other game modes eventually and the duration for being warped is subject to change.

Digging Job Rework

• Digging as a job has been completely overhauled. You'll now have to stay on the move and dig at random in the sand to spawn sink holes nearby. Dig out these sink holes in time to yield shells like before.
• The amount of shells you'll earn has been permanently buffed to compensate for increased effort.

Steam Bug Fixes

Controller Input

• A fire rate bug tied to controller inputs on Steam has been patched. Guns with burst modes or explosive projectiles can no longer be rapidly spammed past their intended fire rates.
• An issue which caused you to freeze in place while swinging melees or using certain items with a controller has also been fixed.

General Bug Fixes

Level Desync and Base Flags

• We've implemented code that can detect for players who've been affected by the level desync bug in order to warp them out of the level. False positives may sometimes occur.
• This patch helps prevent player immortality within bases which could be abused with items like the Dart Gun.
• Additionally players affected by the level desync bug who've not been caught by the checks will no longer be able to deal damage to flags or other players while outside of a flag room or base.

Box Factory

• An ancient bug which caused players to spawn directly outside the base's door on death and not the heal room has been patched. Players will now spawn in Box Factory's heal room on death.

Dimension Rifle

• A bug which allowed the Dimension Rifle's portals shot in a previous level to carry over to a new level on entry has been patched. Users will no longer be able to abuse this to reach a base's flag easier.

House Templates

• The Summer 2024 and Plasma Corp house templates are both functional and able to be purchased now.
• You may have to swap out your house template and reapply it to see the fixes.

Seriously? Digging has been revamped on Era? Yup! The job's been given some fresh mechanics and graphics to make it a lot more fresh and engaging. The amount of shells you can earn per shovel has also been slightly increased. Going forwards as you dig into the sand sinkholes will appear at random all around you: Run up to one of these sinkholes and dig them up with your shovels to yield some shells. We hope you dig the rework! Double job XP will also be enabled from August 23rd to August 25th! Grab a friend and come earn double the earnings for all jobs on Era this weekend!

Summer has arrived on Era! Dress for the heat and head on down to Era's Water Park for all new summertime goods! We've stocked up the Summer Shop with an array of all-new hats, items, furniture and house templates fit for the season. Just remember to cool down and don't miss out on some refreshing new treats sold at the stands outside the shop! Additional content this year includes a mini grind event for you and your friends: Dig up and kill 150 crabs total and head towards the locked door in the Summer Shop building to unlock something cool!

Hello everyone! Era's annual egg hunt has arrived! Eggs and plastic eggs have started spawning around the map! Egg count has been reset and plastic eggs from previous years are disabled (You won't get loot by opening them). Plastic eggs come stuffed full of hats and eggs. The small eggs you collect can be spent over at the Holiday Shop on various goodies as you go about your hunt. If you're new and want to collect eggs, purchase the Easter Basket right outside the Holiday Shop and equip it to start picking up any egg. Happy hunting!

Its that time of the year again Earth Day! Show your appreciation for the planet by keeping the streets of Era City clean and litter-free! Grab your trash pick and help clean up the city to be rewarded with 10 lovely new hats to celebrate Earth Day 2024! Pick up 200 trash in total to collect all the hats.
