You will find surprising answers, like biggest obstacles between you and success being weirdly elaborate boulder puzzles.
Things you will be able to do in Wizarducks and the Lost Hat:
- Learn an array of magic spells you can learn for both combat and exploration
- Explore a wide world with secrets to find by solving puzzles and looking for things hidden away. See what kind of tricks and traps wait for you on the other side of the pond!
- Solve puzzles to solve, push blocks, bonk some bugs, and trigger the photic sneeze reflex in some weird statues
- Fight bosses, managers, and general supervisors. Some because the story told you to, and some because they might be giving your friends a hard time.
- Enhance your spell-casting abilities. Maybe you'll be able to see old areas in a new light!
- Learn about the world around you as you revitalize your hometown. If you befriend the villagers, they might teach you a few things!
- Run errands for some NPCs. (Or not. Most of them aren't your mom.)
- Complete an album full of trading cards featuring pixel art of colorful birds. Did you find them all?
- Unveil the mysteries of your new home, full of rooms and dangers that you were not aware of. Maybe that haunted furniture was just in style years ago?
- Take a break from adventuring by tending to your garden. You never know when your favorite fruits or flowers might come in handy!
- Take your faithful dog along with you on your adventures. He's a good boy. You should give him pets.
- Enjoy the aesthetic of pixel art games of old blended with 3D elements
- Find your hat. What kind of wizard would you even be without a hat?

Demo Update 0.0.3
Boy, has it been a while! How are you, Quackling?
A while ago we updated the game, but didnt make a fuss about it because we were whacking a lot of bugs that would appear inconsistently.
The big thing is: We changed a lot of the game internally, and just like plumbing, and if you dont notice anything, it means we did our job. Do report brown stuff sightings. ()
But that doesnt sound exciting enough, so:
New Level!
If you complete the demo, you can take a look at some of the new mechanics that will be on the full game. We hope you have fun! ()
PS: Bring a jacket.
Brazilian Portuguese Translation
This was added months ago, but we decided it was better not to report once we were sure some other bugs were taken care of!
Quack Button
We are all for realism on our magic duck game. So of course that had to be a thing.
Quality of life
Wizardog might not get in your way as much. You get little cutscenes showing that the puzzle has been solved, along with audio cues.
If you like testing games and breaking stuff, you can now run the game with -debug parameter and youll get a lot of tools to do that.
New Art!
Over 370 sprites were added for the duckling. The dog has also been updated. There might be one or two cases where the colors are shifting unexpectedly, but were on it.
There is also more kinds of grass, and the menus should align better now.
So ducking more is coming
We are working on a whole village right now, and characters, and quests from those characters. We hope you love it as much as we do.
