Last Bastion Studios is pleased to announce the release of our latest Game Update (Build 30). Over the last month we've spent a lot of time rebalancing the later areas of the game to create a much more rich and unique experience. This work will tie into additional content plans we have for the future, so it was imperative we got these foundational changes out of the way.
There is still much work to do, but thanks to our dedicated community of players we have managed to reshape/balance/tune the game at an accelerated pace.

IMPORTANT: World Update
Due to the vast number of changes to the terrain and objects across all the islands done in
Build 24, we are recommending existing players returning to the game from prior releases create new worlds. Because of all these changes, we cannot guarantee the integrity of your world saves prior to this update. Existing characters are fine to use.
If you are new to the game, this does not apply.
IMPORTANT: Video Settings Update
FOR THIS BUILD we do recommend
EXISTING players take the following steps to refresh their video settings:
- Go into Options
- Click Settings
- Click Default
- Click Apply
Once this is done please adjust the options as you see fit. This will clean out any residual data from previous builds. We do apologize for the inconvenience.
Build 30 Changes
Improvements and changes that you can expect to see in this build:
- Major Bug Fix: Resolved rare crash with skeleton spawn in Carta Sul
- Major Bug Fix: Addressed several areas in the world where the player could get stuck
- Bug Fix: Copper Armor now displays correct material
- Bug Fix: Devourer Armor now displays white fur on player when worn
- Bug Fix: Iron Nodes now use correct texture
- Bug Fix: Improved performance around portals
- Content: Heart of Tarvhas now required to summon Kur
- Content: Additional Spirit creatures added to the world (Furies, Tortured skeletons)
- Balance: All spirit based creatures now deal Spirit attack damage which bypasses damage mitigation stats on armor
- Content: Lycor now roams the Ruins of Ketta Zah on Jormughr
- Content: Kiffi changed to spirit and now roams Carta Sul
- Content: Elite Furies added to the Ruins of Ketta Zah on Jormughr
- Content: Spirit Armor line added to the game, mitigates damage from Spirit based creatures
- Content: Labels have been added to various items for better sorting in the crafting UI
- Content: Crystalline Armor renamed to Crystalline Spirit Armor; requirements to craft have changed
- Content: Hal Potion descriptions updated
- Balance: Kur health reduced by 10%
- Balance: Kur tail whip now has a chance to disease
- Balance: Forest Giants have been revamped and rebalanced
- Balance: Creatures now have a chance to drop no loot
- Balance: Kiilot no longer spawn on Freydalyn
- Balance: Kiilot health increased by 50%
- Balance: Iron Armor and weapons removed from Crafting list
- Balance: Iron Armor now drop only from creatures
- Balance: Steel Ingots now require Iron ore instead of Iron Ingots to craft
- Balance: Tin through Steel armor/weapons repair requirements have changed; now requires Basic Forge
- Balance: Steel Armor requirements have changed
- Balance: Copper through Silver armor balance has changed
- Balance: Hardened Leather Armor is no longer craftable; drop only now
- Balance: Savage Fur Armor damage mitigation increased by 15%
- Balance: Savage Fur Armor heat mitigation increased by 50%
- Balance: Savage Fur Armor crafting requirements updated
- Balance: Devourer Armor crafting requirements updated
- Balance: Devourer Armor heat mitigation increased by 50%
- Balance: Dragon Forge now requires Everwood to construct
- Balance: Silver has been removed from Freydalyn
- Balance: Mithras no longer required to craft Silver armor
- Balance: Mithras now protects against Spirit damage and disease
- Balance: Mithras cold mitigation increased by 48%
- Balance: Crafting reqs for Enchanted Chest have changed
- Balance: Wolfsbane requirements and stats updated to fit new crafting progression
- Balance: Golden Reaver rebalanced
- Balance: Silver and Gold weapons rebalanced
- Balance: Additional Iron, Silver and Gold nodes have been added to the game.
- Balance: Shields durability, crafting requirements, damage mitigation normalized with current armor progression
- Balance: Silver Nodes have been removed from Freydalyn
- Balance: Potions are now produced in quantities of 3
- Balance: 3 Wood Planks now only require 1 log
- Balance: Frost Fern Bandages now require crafting table to craft
Known Issues
- Some creatures such as Ghuuls, Goats, and large Wolves may continue to exhibit rubber banding issues during high latency online games; though reduced from previous builds.
- Plagued by Wolves achievement not completing for some characters created before Build 9.
- When a Summoning Orb is activated, players will need to scroll up in the UI to see the list of players in the game session
- (Linux) Settings menu does not appear ingame. Video settings tweaks must be changed from the main menu.
