KILLMAGE Is Out Now!
A Few Features In our announcement we went over some of the core features of the game and here we wanted to talk about some of the smaller things. To start we have the additional game modes, which once unlocked modify the game in a variety of ways, including: random enemies, pacifism, exploding enemies, and more! The game's visuals are also pretty simple and it can be hard to clearly see where enemies are when things get hectic, to help remedy this a bit there is an optional radar than can be enabled that gives a vague idea of when enemies are close or behind you.
The Enemies We wanted to go over the enemies you'll face while fighting in the Vault, the souls trapped by the Immortal surround you. To start we have the most common enemy, the Accursed, a low health and somewhat quick enemy that swarms in hordes. The next most common is the Hidden, an enemy with moderate health and slow speed that blends into the background to sneak up on the player. A recurring enemy, the Heretic is fast and charges at the player directly being relentless and acting as an occasional surprise. Appearing late as a last resort of the Immortal, the Twisted are large with high amounts of health that act as obstacles, preventing the player from full movement around the Vault. A soul only appearing after certain events, the Mass of Souls aptly named for being a mass of Accursed, just as fast but with higher health and taking up more space. Lastly we have the Immortal themselves, but you'll have to come across them to learn more.
Beyond The Sound With the full game release we have also included a PDF detailing the lore and world we have wrote for KILLMAGE. This is a completely optional piece of extra content and the game is straight forward enough to not need to know anything more, but it is there for anyone who wants a bit of reading to go along with the game.
We hope what we've made interests some of you, we are big fans of games like Devil Daggers and CROSSBOW: Bloodnight, we even wrote the first guide on Steam for the former. So odds are if you like those types of horde survival games you'll probably like this too. Just as always we want to thank everyone for their support and hope you enjoy our latest game, we hope you all have a great day!
