Hi everyone!
Last weekend we showed a special build of Stray Shot at a festival. It was pretty successful so we thought it would be nice to let you have it in some way... And so here it is! You can enable the festival mode in the festival_mode.txt file in the game's folder! It will add a new game mode to the game called "festival" which plays out a series of levels defined in festival_mode.txt! You can modify these if you'd like, or leave them as they are for the experience we designed ourselves. The festival mode also takes away the fullscreen setting from the options so it's safe to abandon in a festival or home party once launched. It even features aim assist to make the game a little more accessible to casual players!
Speaking of which, we also added a bunch of new controls options to make the game easier to play! You can now play with just the keyboard, firing with the arrow keys, or on a controller you can fire with A B X Y, or aim with the right stick and only fire when pressing triggers. We also added an optional virtual cursor (only applies in runs) and aim reticles for the tanks!
We think there's something for everyone in this update, so we hope you like it!
Here's the full changelog:
Added festival mode! Define the level progression and set up the game to be played at your event or home party! Check out festival_mode.txt in the game's files!
Added optional mouse and tank reticles
Added an option to use arrow keys to fire
Added an option to aim with controller right-stick and fire with triggers
On controllers, A B X and Y now fire in down, right, left and up directions
Removed controls to fire in the tank's direction.
In gauntlet mode, the dash ability now triggers with shoulder buttons on a controller and right-click on the mouse.
Fixed a bug that prevented controllers to be picked up by the game in some cases.
Fixed a crash on clan selection screen.
Thank you all for the support! If you're enjoying the game please remember to write a positive review, it would really help to reach the 10 Steam-bought reviews threshold and get a review score!
Have a lovely weekend, we love you!

This is a unique twin-stick arena shooter where your own actions define the difficulty. Shoot recklessly at the walls and you will drown in enemies, but shoot too little and you will have a mediocre score. Observe the different monsters's behaviours and be strategic in the way you fight them. The more monsters there are in the arena, the more points you get for each one defeated.
Unlock and play in 8 different arenas with their unique monsters, take on contract levels to defeat specific sets of monsters, unlock clan levels for monsters you've seen on each of their 5 evolutions, take on seeded daily challenges which keep throwing new sets of monsters at you until you die, or play the gauntlet mode where you win coins and shop for upgrades that will last you until you run out of lives!
The game plays either with mouse and keyboard, or with a game controller. You can play singleplayer or co-op with 2 to 4 players. A play session can take anywhere between 5 minutes and multiple hours depending on the game modes you take on and how fast you tire out! Perfect for both coffee breaks and extended play sessions!
Features a banging original soundtrack by Pentadrangle!
