2.1.8 Patch
[ 2015-09-11 10:06:35 CET ] [ Original post ]
Hi everyone! Today we’re rolling out a fresh patch with a tonne of usability improvements and bugfixes! Changes/Additions
- Revolver Rifle: Increased the radius of the hit cylinder from 0.01 to 0.25 units
- Backspace/X on controller is now used to unslot in the lobby instead of Escape/B
- Emotes such as (X) no longer show as controller icons in player names
- Made mouse aim invert and sensitivity a global setting which can be modified in the Options > Controls menu
- Added kill reporting to generate heatmaps
- Add Ragdoll Clearing option in Graphics settings. If enabled, ragdolls will be cleared on round restart after 75 have appeared in single session on a map, or if 100 exist at once. The ability to scale this setting will be added in a future patch.
- Add maximum screenshake cap to prevent excessive screenshake bugs
- Fixed a slight gameplay pause at end-game
- Re-added Hobby Horse to One Shot (thanks to xFats for the recommendation!)
- Crossbow: Bolts now interact better with moving objects
- Rumble will pause when the game is paused
- Fixed issues with pickups getting stuck in vents
- Fixed issues with pickups in the tunnel on Loop
- Fixed a bug where you could sometimes shoot through walls. Thanks to IamNic for reporting this one
- Improved pickup/drop animation for pickups
- Improved physics efficiency on Emir
- Fix not gaining any XP when you have a negative score
- Fix profile duplication bug. Any duplicated profiles will be automatically removed, leaving the copy of the profile with the highest level.
- Add ability to set a Favourite Weapon to your profile. You will start the game with your favourite weapon if it is available in that match.
- Add a Controls tab to the Options menu which contains all control options
- Add a confirmation prompt when attempting to delete custom controller bindings
- Fixed “Press X to Jason” to show proper (X) symbol for PlayStation controllers
- Fixed “(B)” controller icon always showing for exiting to Lobby in the end-game screen
- Streamline the options in the Profile Menu so that players only see options relevant to their control type (keyboard or controller)
- Fix the “Eliminated” message not showing for the last player killed in elimination style modes
- Added score to win/time limit in scoreboard
- Fix server name not showing properly
- Fix Bombs Away bomb countdown indicator sometimes clipping into other screens
- Improve the unrecognised controller popup to work with XInput
- Show a warning when more than 4 XInput controllers are connected (as only 4 are supported at once)
- Custom Keyboard Bindings menu may not work on Windows machines

Screencheat is the ridiculous split-screen shooter where everyone is invisible so you have to “screencheat” (Screencheat - verb: to look at your opponent’s screens. “Stop screencheating you cheater!”). Master a wide variety of one-hit kill weapons including a blunderbuss, a car engine that shoots bouncing plasma balls and a teddy bear loaded with explosives. Train your skills in the solo time trials then engage in fast and frantic combat with up to eight players locally on the couch or online. With colourful maps, unique modes and a huge number of customisation options including wacky mutators, Screencheat is the ultimate party FPS.
Ranging from the dependable Blunderbuss to the heroic Hobby Horse to the completely crazy Chefolet; a car engine that fires ricocheting energy balls, all are designed to deliver deadly satisfaction. Each weapon comes with its own unique advantages and disadvantages, encouraging wildly different play styles. These include not only the way a weapon shoots but also the 'tells' the weapon leaves such as the smoke from the blunderbuss or the trail of fire behind the Hobby Horse.
From traditional favourites such as Deathmatch to the completely unique Murder Mystery that challenges you to find and frag your specific target with a specific weapon. Play in teams or all against all. Challenge up to seven of your mates on the couch or online or a combination of both, the game is always split screen whether you are on or offline. When your friends aren't around, train your skills and learn the maps in the solo time trials or play against AI bots.
In the spirit of the best arena shooters you’ll spend time traversing 11 maps via air vents and trampolines until you’ve acquired your target and fragged them accordingly. Each map is designed with colour-coded areas as well as plentiful landmarks such as statues, paintings and furniture that allow you to quickly locate other players without being able to actually see them.
Inspired by games like Towerfall we've provided players with a highly granular level of customisation to play the game the way they want to. Choose which weapons you'll allow, how and when they can be swapped or reloaded, apply time limits, adjust the victory conditions, penalties and more. To really mix it up stack on some Mutators such as slow mode, low gravity or flappy jump.
