  • Multithreaded screen compression: greatly improved server-side performance where many dashboard screens are constantly changing
  • Improved player sync multithreading: number of threads in pool now matches number of players, up to half hw concurrency

Archean is a realistic and immersive engineering sandbox / space sim.
In this game you start on Earth but 3 billion years in the past, in the Archean eon.

This game (and its custom engine) is being developed by a single programmer in a small team of two.
