It's been a month and a bit since the last Tiny Update, here's what I've been making this whole time!

Ice Crisis (Gold)
The Never-Descending Terra Tower (Gold)
Across The Universe (Gold)
The Heist (Gold)
Treasure Cloud (Gold)
Changes:
Master volume default changed to 50% (games are too often unpredictably loud when you first boot them up so thought this would save the odd person a jumpscare)
Combos now have a UI indicator
Dancing Victory Rats
Unda Da Siege ending makes a bit more sense
Ice Crisis ending makes a bit more sense
The Recipe for Peace now has an additional story moment
Tile Upgrades available in the shop should make more sense for your character. (e.g no more mushrooms unless you're the forager)
New hover info blob, which is animated and has bigger text. You can also scroll properly now.
Font rendering should be better (crispier) on scaled resolutions, so that's good for windowed mode and Steam Deck
Bunch of new achievements, mainly for not dying on hardcore. The game now keeps track of your deaths as a stat (or you could call them more accurately "defeats")
Added an option for fixed conversation button placement, as some people don't like the way they move around randomly
This update comes with a variety of new content and adjustments. The stories should feel a little bit more fleshed out and you can now finally play an unfinished version of The Heist (and get the achievement for it).
I made a few unique enemies that needed their own special logic and introduced some new mechanics that could be used for later enemies. PainTer will literally paint an enemy in its canvas, dealing more damage to that target (or multiple targets of the same character). Pointy will force what direction you can swap tiles. Dogosaur can be found in hatched or egg form, the latter of which transforms into the former.
There is also a new fun character to meet: Penguini, the penguin comedian. Inspired by a snack, this guy can be paid to perform comedy shows if you're into his sense of humour.
Combos are getting more utilised by the Combo Cup charm and the Combo Crunch meal. There is lots of potential with a combo based build so I plan to create more items and enemies that are all about combos.
Also, there are now dancing victory rats which is very important. I plan to animate more dancing characters.
I hope you enjoy this update, it's getting much closer to a 1.0 release! If you have any suggestions or feedback please join my Discord (Steam doesn't allow links anymore, you can find it as a tiny link on the store page) and I will most likely implement your ideas!

There is now a tutorial finally!
Big Mode (larger grid, smaller tiles), activated by a charm
This one took a while because I had to experiment with making a good tutorial! Lots of ideas were made and then scrapped, including a little hand that flew around and waved at the correct tiles to swap. It got too complex so I have something cleaner I guess. Highlights include big mode, where the grid becomes bigger (smaller tiles, but lots more of them). For now it belongs in a charm but could be a gameplay option. It's pretty novel though.
Also worked on more Tile Upgrades, which adds more to the variety of builds. A couple of new achievements too. I plan to keep making more variety between runs as usual. 142 Combat Characters now! If you want to help me with feedback, or suggest ideas, or just post memes, please join my Discord (Link Here). Thank you to everyone who has played so far! Update you later.

Marvin's mishap now rewards you with a unique combat
This tiny update brings you more variety with items, which has sorely been missing. Runs should have more options for different style builds. Volume sliders remember your preference! Just a simple but important QOL feature, and it doesn't deafen you on launch! Marvin finally summons the correct enemy. A truly tiny update but not bad for ~5 days of work :)
I'm going on holiday for the next week, which means the next update will take longer. As always, if you have any suggestions, please join my discord (Link Here). I listen and consider every random idea you might have.

Cool title theme by Huw Roberts!!!
This update was delayed due to me taking part in the GMTK jam! You can see it here: https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2024/rate/2903904
This update includes some new items, backgrounds and characters to meet. Notable addition is the blob snack, that transforms the player (if you are one of the three main characters). Achievements for completing each chapter should have been easy to implement, but I came across some odd problems. Let's hope nobody crashes. I'm confident it works, I am, uh I am it's fine trust me.
Welcome Huw Roberts to the squad! He's a musician and has made the title theme! Check him out in the credits.
I have some plans for upcoming content for this game, but in short you can expect WAY more items than there are currently. That will be a major focus to increase the replayability. As always if you have any suggestions or feedback I will take note of it in my Discord (Link Here). See you again soon! Hopefully next Friday :)

Okay okay what does that all mean!? Not much without context. That's why you should join my Discord Community (Link here). A good chunk of the new content was based on player suggestions and feedback. You can see my work-in-progress in real-time and help steer the direction of the game as it grows, bobs, weaves and spins and eventually crash-lands into full release.
This update tries a little bit of everything to give variety, particularly with levels. I do like a good change of scenery. There is also three new status effects and a small pile of new characters you may encounter, bringing the total up to 128. You can now finish the Coin Collector Cat and the Deep Seaker's quests, though I may spruce them up further in the future.
Expect similar updates in a weekly fashion? We'll see. See you next week, I think.
Finally, I've released something on Steam! The game will get regular updates with new content and I will consider all suggestions in my discord (Link Here) as well as steam reviews and discussions.
I won't increase the price so don't feel like you should buy it now. In fact I'd recommend waiting unless you want to support me. Cheers! :)
Idylls of the Lunar Maria is releasing as Early Access very soon! I haven't finished the game to where I wanted it to be but I want to get it out there. There's much more content than in the Demo, also bug fixes, quality of life changes and balance improvements.
The roadmap is vaguely this:
Each main character will have 3 stories to play through, each changing up the game in some way.
There might be a bespoke soundtrack! Will update on this if it happens.
I would like to add Steam Achievements eventually
All feedback will be considered! That includes desired additional content and changes. You can contact me in my Discord (Link Here)
All bugs will be squished before I consider the game released
I hope it only takes a few more months! And if you are unsure on buying the game during Early Access, please wait until release! It will get much better over time. Thanks to everyone who has tried out the demo or wishlisted so far!
Battle monsters, upgrade your powers and meet quirky characters along the way. Whimsical serendipity, mm.
Tons of characters to fight against (and with!)
Build up attacks, defensive moves and special powers using the match-3 grid. Line up combos and strategise against your enemies' unique strategies and twists.
