PLOT
Nerobi and Bokyaku, the Demon of Oblivion, destroyed each other in a battle to the death. Ikimaki, the Spirit of Life with whom Nerobi is in love, to preserve the balance that governs the universe saved the Demon of Oblivion by allowing him to absorb her.Nerobi now, with no more memory and self-awareness, is in the Middle World, the place that Essences must pass through before reincarnating.
The Middle World, however, is invaded by Demons, who have taken possession of the Eight Keepers. So Nerobi, on his path of reminiscence, must free the Keepers, the Middle World and Ikimaki... but will it really be the right thing?
GAMEPLAY
The game is a 2D scrolling platformer with several elements typical of a graphic adventure, featuring some cinematic sequences. It is all hand-drawn.The gameplay is definitely challenging: it takes coordination, timing, and you have to use your wits. Different powers are unlocked as you go along, expanding the gameplay experience.
In addition, scattered around the world, there are several hidden cards to collect.
