Hello again!
After sitting on this one for a while, I'm deciding to change the qualification time on 5-5 from 6.98 to a more lenient 7.08.
It's quite possible that with the underlying engine update, I might have included minor changes in the physics and timing that make it just a little bit too difficult to achieve that time compared to the original version of the game. It is still possible to hit the 6.98 but can involve hacks and tricks that I don't intend players to have to put up with.
I know this can be quite unfair to old players who put in the hard work for that level before, so my apologies to anyone who might feel this is not right . But the game is fundamentally different now and it's been almost a decade since the release, so I think it's okay to make this small change to help reduce the suffering for new players who might be struggling a bit too much with this level.
The new time is not that much easier to hit, so I think this change keeps in the spirit of World 5 being obtusely difficult as I originally intended it to be.
I hope that with this update, your time with the game is smoother and more lovely.
