An important message from me, the main developer: TLDR - Plans for full release are in the works and I will be moving on to the next game with better design intent. As were taking steps towards full release, I wanted to announce that this update will most likely be the last major content/feature push for Let Him Cook. I believe I may have exhausted myself of most the content and features that I wanted for this game. However, that does not mean I will completely halt development, it just simply means the next few updates will be toned down and smaller compared to the previous two updates. I consider the game to be successful at many different levels, but I also think that the game is not being explored to its full potential. Let Him Cook, as a roguelike, is supposed to be replayable, but its not quite hitting the mark Id hope for. There is a lack of incentive to unlock the content due to internal design problems such as unlocks not being as accessible, shop experience being too overwhelming, and builds feeling too similar. Perhaps this update may change that, but I can no longer adjust the game any further fundamentally. As much as I appreciate all the praise Im receiving from you all, the reality is that Im just not getting enough feedback that I need for this Early Access title, which is an important part of the process. Therefore, I want to wrap up the last pieces of content for this game and hopefully I can move on to a new game with the lessons I learned. You can now customize your difficulty to specific modifiers (Applies after you beat Scorch). All previous difficulties completed have been converted spice levels. Additionally, a new extreme difficulty has been added called Hellfire for those that want to push their skills to the limit. - NEW Weapon Set Bonuses! Some more polishing to the game. Small update but very good boost to QOL. Big QOL Update 0.1.3 - Controller support, bug fixes, and tweaks

Hey everyone, happy 4th! I hope everyone has been enjoying Let Him Cook so far! It's been an incredible first few weeks already and I'm ready to cook up the game even more. Demo is Back - Steam Endless Replayability Fest

A huge update to our demo: elites, new mechanics, and a bigger map! Elites Elites are here to add some spiciness to your runs. If you want their rewards, cook them before the timer ends on the wave. Watch out. They are much more dangerous than their smaller counterparts. Brand New UI We cooked up a brand new menu for you to navigate through, thats the whole thing for that. Hope you like it! Blacklisting Assistants If you ever felt like you kept getting too many Joes in your hiring booth (We dont know why you would ever feel this way), then you can permanently get rid of his resume, letting you skew for the assistants you want. You only have 5 resumes you can blacklist per run! A slew of Quality Of Life fixes as well ...We made the map bigger Yup, we just made the map bigger. Trust us, it was a big enough job that we feel like we need to list it.

Player Outlines Enemy Outlines Assistant Outlines Enemy Projectiles Toggle Weapon Outlines (No color changes) Reduce clutter on the screen: Disable crowds in the background during boss fights and DJ dance floors Reduce particle effects from weapons, enemies, and more Adjust brightness, contrast, dance floor lights, and weapon opacity These settings can be a game changer to some and a good QOL to all.
