There's never been a more truer war fought than war of faith, for if people will not fight for what they believe in, what else is there to fight for?
You've seen it, and you've been there. Once a devoted man fighting for what he believed in, seen and believed a hero... for all the wrong reasons.
But if you've had a chance to do it again, would you do it the same?
Follow the story of Eliot Magnus (first name changeable), once a devoted man of faith and a Paladin of his god, deemed a hero. Yet a hero can be turned into a villain, for all the right reasons when he fought for all the wrong reasons before.

In current state, Elleria contains:

Phew... its been quite some days and even longer nights working on this.
\nFrom coffee to energy drinks, from headaches to bickering, weve had it all. But were glad its finally behind us. This DLC has been quite the journey, and while time didnt allow us to include everything we initially planned, as mentioned before, well be offering post-launch updates to expand on it further.
The DLC itself brings some major revelations particularly for Eliot. Hes always been something of an enigma in Elleria, but Sands of Time digs deeper into that mystery and reveals truths that arent so easy to swallow.
Sands of Time was always meant to be a darker and more dramatic story, but after all that gloom, even Eliot might need some therapy. Thats why our upcoming post-launch updates will focus on more personal and wholesome moments featuring Amynth, Vaerith, and perhaps a few others, if we can fit them in.
Each update will center around a single character, giving them meaningful screen time and a moment in the spotlight. Well do our best to ensure everyone gets their fair share of attention.
Its been a lot of effort and work some things couldve gone smoother, but under the rush and pressure of deadlines, a few hiccups were inevitable. The launch itself didnt go perfectly either; it seems The Blight decided to infect our code right as we uploaded to Steam. Thankfully, we were quick to banish the plague and get everything back on track.
Were not sure what else to say except this its been a fun, exhausting, and rewarding ride.\nWe enjoyed creating it, and we sincerely hope youll enjoy experiencing it.
\nTill we meet again, hopefully, with less time and reality warping around us!
Arcane Ink Productions.
\nIts been a long stretch of working days and even longer working nights.\nA hiccup here and there may have occurred, but thats the nature of the hourglass, isnt it? Still, weve done our best with the time we had, and the sands are finally settling.
Were aiming to release the Sands of Time DLC before the end of this month.\nIts been a challenge one filled with caffeine, 4 AM headaches, and overclocked patience, but also one of genuine passion.
This expansion means a lot to us. Every scene we could build, every track we could get, was built to carry the same weight and emotion as the story it continues. And while our own hourglass may be running out of sand, theres still more to come.
Were also preparing a free post-launch update for the DLC expanding upon its aftermath, adding new story content, and polishing a few things we had to scale back for timing reasons.
Overall, were proud of how its turning out and we hope youll enjoy experiencing it as much as we enjoyed creating it.
\n(Minus the occasional 4 AM debugging sessions, of course.)
Hello everyone,
It has been a busy stretch of production, and we want to take a moment to share where things stand with the Sands of Time DLC for Elleria: Book I.
The DLC has grown into something much larger than originally envisionedexpanding the world of Elleria with new lore, cinematic moments, and original music. A great deal of work is going into ensuring the fantasy atmosphere remains deep, immersive, and true to the tone of the main game.
Heres whats been happening:
Visuals & Cinematics: Weve been creating new renders, animations, especially environmental ones and vision sequences that will bring the desert setting and its mysteries to life.
[/*]Music & Atmosphere: A fully new soundtrack is in progress, tailored to match both the awe-inspiring and ominous tones of the story. As always, being very firm about music and believing it contributes heavily to overall atmosphere and story, Sands of Time currently stands above 20 soundtracks tailored for it.
[/*]Narrative & Lore: The Sands of Time storyline expands on themes of fate, time, and forgotten powers tying directly into Eliots journey and what awaits beyond Book I.
[/*]
This DLC is not just an add-onits part of a larger vision leading toward Book II, giving both long-time players and newcomers more reasons to dive deeper into Ellerias universe. Rest assured we\'re currently working way over the clock, to deliver this as fast as possible.
And now for something special were sharing one of the Sands of Time OST tracks:
Vaerith The Veiled Daughter
This piece captures her presence perfectly: majestic, inevitable, and quietly awe-inspiring. Its one of our personal favorites, and we cant wait for you to hear it!
Usually, I wouldnt waste time on this, but I think its worth addressing. Ive seen recent reviews and outside comments about Elleria that misinterpret our words, twist them into facts, and spread them around as if theyre the truth. Lets clear this up.
One recent review said:
Tried to load my game and it crashed. I commend the developer for their honesty in their recent post but saying not enough people bought my game so I just finished it quickly is not great marketing and I won\'t be buying anymore of these.
Heres the reality: Elleria was not finished quickly or abandoned due to sales. The Wheel of Fate DLC was delivered as planned, with multiple patches, bug fixes, optimizations, and additional content after release. Thats not the behavior of someone rushing a product thats the behavior of a developer supporting it.
Weve been transparent about the fact that Elleria didnt meet the sales needed for large-scale production. That honesty is not the same thing as I gave up. It means I delivered the content as promised, improved it with feedback, and adjusted scope responsibly instead of promising things that couldnt be delivered.
And then, I see another take being spread (ironically, from piracy forums of all places):
Elleria is being rushed just to have some kind of ending projects can start with passion but when money is the final goal something goes wrong in the long run.
Let me be blunt: this is detached from reality. Passion may start a project, but without funding, it dies. Period. Electricity bills for rendering, software licenses, hardware upgrades, and production costs dont vanish just because someone thinks money shouldnt matter. That isnt how life works.
Ive spent this time financing Elleria out of my own pocket, giving content away for free, and carrying this project far beyond what was financially reasonable. Money isnt the final goal its the fuel that keeps the fire burning. Without it, there is no Elleria, no DLC, no continuation.
So lets set the record straight:
Elleria was not abandoned.
[/*]Wheel of Fate was completed and patched extensively.
[/*]Sands of Time DLC is next, and Book 2 will follow.
[/*]
If acknowledging reality makes me the bad guy in some peoples eyes, so be it. Id rather be honest than sell fairytales.
The story continues. Sands of Time is coming. Book 2 is coming. Elleria is not done.\n\n\nP.S.\nThe moral of the story is simple: passion creates, but money sustains. Without resources, there is no project, no updates, no DLCs just silence. Electricity isnt free, bread isnt free, and neither is the work that goes into making a game.
So the next time someone tries to say money shouldnt matter while playing hundreds of hours of work for the price of a sandwich remember that it only exists because someone paid the very real costs to make it.\n\nThe people shouting loudest that money shouldnt matter are usually the ones who didnt pay in the first place. steambored
Arcane Ink Productions
Hey everyone,
Its been a whilelonger than I planned, and for that, I apologize. Life has a strange way of throwing up walls just when you think you\'re past the hardest part. The wrap-up for Elleria: Wheel of Fate took more time than I wanted it to, but its finally here.
Originally, I had bigger plans for this DLC. There were scenes, sequences, even a few side branches I wanted to include but the window I had set aside for production simply ran out. Some things had to be cut, reworked, or left behind. That said, I still think Wheel of Fate turned out to be a solid expansion to Ellerias lore. We introduced new characters, deepened the world, and gave players some weighty choices that will carry over into what comes next.
On a more honest noteElleria has more or less hit its ceiling in terms of sales. It hasnt done terribly, but it hasnt justified further large-scale production in the way Id hoped. And while not everything should be about money, the unfortunate truth is: its a necessary evil when it comes to keeping a project alive.
At one point, I was genuinely considering scrapping everything moving forward and letting the story end here.
But I changed my mind.
Where this started with I, there is now we. Were trying to push through the chaos, were still hereand were still on top of it. Elleria will continue.
That said, Sands of Time (the next DLC) will be more fast-paced, more condensed, and yessome content will need to be trimmed. The same will apply to Book 2. Due to the financial flop of the game overall, well be cutting back on certain aspectsbut well still do our best to make it worth your time.
I wont pretend Elleria is perfectits rough around the edges in places, and Im very aware of that. But Im still proud of it. Writing this story has been a wild ride, and honestly? A fun one. I dont have a firm date for Book 2 yet, but Sands of Time should be arrivinghopefullybefore Christmas.
After that, well be shifting focus back to Valenza Family. If you want to know more about that project, check out our website:

Or visit the Steam page directly: Valenza Family on Steam
Thank you to everyone whos been here for the journey. Whether you discovered Elleria at launch or just recently, it means a lot that youve stuck with us through it all.
See you soon in Sands of Time.

To: Emissary Eliot, Divine Herald of The One
From: Scout-Commander Seren Valaris, Inquisition Branch, Southern Watch
Subject: Intelligence on Lyria the Elf
Divine Emissary,
While monitoring Paladin morale along the southern front, our mages of subtle hearing recorded repeated campfire murmurs invoking the name of a certain elfspoken with reverence and hope. Cross-referencing these whispers with our field reports, we confirm that Lyria the Elf has become a beacon of courage among your knights, believed capable of turning the tide against the Blight.
On receipt of Your directive, the Inquisition dispatched operatives to scour every sanctuary, wood, and ruin across Elleria. Though she vanished from known realms over half a year ago, this will not stop our pursuersno glen shall hide her, no fortress deter us, for none escape the vigilance of our Order.
We await Your further command and stand ready to deliver this elf into the sanctums custodyor to call upon her valor in our sacred crusade.
By The Ones will,
Scout-Commander Seren Valaris
Inquisition Branch, Southern Watch
Stand ready, Paladins. The Wheel of Fate turnsand with The Ones light, we shall endure.
Renderer Selector & The Blight Cleansing Patch
Gather around Paladins!
Todays patching spree is all about stability, bug-smashing, and putting an end to the renderer corruption The Blight has been spreading across your systems!
New: Graphics Mode Selector
On first launch (or after resetting Preferences), the game now asks which arcane rendering method you'd like to trust.
Your choices:
- Auto Let the Sanctum divine the best choice.
- ANGLE Blessed path for modern GPUs.
- OpenGL 2 (GL2) For older relics that still endure.
- OpenGL (GL) Ancient fallbackonly if all else fails.
If you've encountered black screens, crashes, or strange artifacting, this selector might be your salvation.
Textbox Opacity Purification
Some players reported crashes when adjusting textbox opacity.
Turns out The Blight had its claws in the UI.
Weve exorcised the issue. The setting now initializes properly and no longer causes chaos.
General Cleansing & Safety Rites
Removed lingering renderer code corrupted by the Old Code.
Ensured that all renderer choices are preserved safely. No more overwriting your sacred save files.
This patch should:
- Eliminate crashes caused by incompatible or cursed graphics renderers.
- Resolve opacity-related exceptions haunting the Preferences screen.
- Make startup smoother for all chosen warriors of Elleria.
IMPORTANT:
If you played a previous version, delete your persistent data and reinstall the game to fully purge any lingering corruption.
The Blight remembers. But now, so do we.
"The Blight spreads no more for now."
v1.3.2 Wheel of Fate [Hotfix]
Some players encountered a rare but critical crash after naming their character, caused by:
TypeError: '<=' not supported between instances of 'NoneType' and 'float'
Why did it happen?
This occurs only on specific setups where a combination of GPU drivers + Ren'Pys default (gl3/ANGLE) renderer + certain UI transforms causes instability particularly on Steam Deck and newer GPUs.
Fixes in this hotfix:

- Renderer fallback updated to use gl2 and a stable 60 FPS cap.
This improves compatibility for Steam Deck, Linux, and modern graphics cards.
No performance impact for players who werent affected.
If youre still experiencing issues, you can also manually launch the game with this in your Steam launch options:
--renderer gl2 --framerate 60
v1.3.1 - Wheel of Fate [DLC]
- Corrupted saves? Banished. Smited. Yeeted into the void.
- Added a shiny new Chapters Selection feature to the main menu!
Want to relive the Prologue? Done. Jump into Chapter 3 like a maniac? Go for it. Skip the fluff and dive straight into the DLC? Absolutely.
No more "Help my save broke!"just pick where you want to go, and off you go like a goddamn time-traveling paladin.
This is your story, your warpath, your schedule. No one tells Varael'dris when to swing!

Step into the Wheel of Fate!

Disclaimer: Elleria: Wheel of Fate DLC contains mature themes, including violence, substances, and complex moral choices. Please be aware of these elements as you continue your journey.
After completing Book 1 of Elleria, I couldnt shake the feeling that there were aspects I left unfinished, elements that might have left a bad taste. Thats why the Wheel of Fate DLC exists, and War Table idea has been scrappedto offer a chance to redeem those choices, to enhance the story and lore, and to give you a deeper, more impactful journey. This DLC isnt just about strategyits about shaping the future with every decision, righting some of the wrongs that lingered from the first book.
It will be bigger, better, and hopefully you'll give it a shot!
Take a look at the gameplay preview below to see the new features and the weight of the choices you'll be making!
No, we havent forgotten about Elleria.
While my focus and priorities have shifted towards other matters, steady progress has been made on the first DLC: War Table.
An update is coming soon, starting with the first batch of content first Chapters 1 and 2 have been attacked without mercy. This merciless attack includes grammar corrections, structural improvements, and overall polish. Every single render, from the beginning to the end, has been reprocessed for better visual quality and to fix overly dark scenes. While this may come with increase in game size, I'd believe it is worth it!
The initial War Table release will feature:
- The Council Reforms
- Demonic Negotiations
- Rebuilding the Human Realms
Choices. Consequences. Branching paths. And oh yes, I've also left a render of character rework on Eliot. Consider it an early sneak-peek.
But enough teasing for now. Heres a short cinematic opening from the DLC to set the tone.
Just one of many patches on the list.
- Gallery Addition - Last four renders are now available.
- - You can unlock them by using your save file at end of Chapter 5, in case you have one, and clicking the offered CHOICE for unlock!
- Squashed several typos.
- Some background work for the upcoming War Table Narrative Addition to the end of Book 1.
v1.1
* Fixed the coding typo at CH1 which was the cause behind error pop ups.

Whew... its been a long journey for me, personally. Ive got about five hundred things to sayprobably more, knowing myselfbut Im not sure where to start or where to finish. So, lets see how this goes.
First and most importantly: its here, its done. The final chapter of Elleria and Book 1 is complete and out of the way. Ill admit, I feel like I couldve pushed a bit more or added a few extra touches here and there, but, well... what we want and what life throws at us dont always line up. Recent health issues have hit me like a punch in the face. But hey, its not all doom and gloom.
I mentioned this in my last post, but Ill say it again. For you, this means a giant chunk of the story is done and dusted. For me, though, it just means a lot more work ahead. While Im happy and satisfied to have accomplished so much in such a short time, it doesnt mean, Oh, here you go, moving on. Unfortunately, I cant leave certain things in their current state, which means even more work on my plate.
Lets talk about The False War DLCyes, that one. By all means, and just to confirm, it will be free. Youll get it with the Elleria update you already own. Its not a massive addition, but its still a story worth telling, exploring events from the past and diving into Eliots background.
But thats not all. Ive got a long to-do list and plenty of polishing to take care of.
I wish I could say Im completely happy with Elleria and how it turned out, but Id be lying. The truth is... Im not. But Ill work on it. There are parts I loved more than others, and parts I hated more than others. Its been one giant learning experience for me. And, as they say, you cant buy experiencewhich is exactly why its so valuable!
From this point onward, you can expect bits and pieces to come and go as I work toward a level of personal satisfaction with this massive chunk of Book 1. I could dive into all the details, but honestly, Id probably end up writing you another book instead of a single post about my plans. That said, if youre part of the Discord, youre likely already in the loop on what Im planning and everything else tied to it.
That being said, Im always here and available for any questions, answers, or any kind of inquiries, really. So dont hesitate to speak upI dont bite. (Well, sometimes.) Got suggestions, ideas, wishes, or wants? Just toss them my way. While I cant promise Ill implement everything, that doesnt mean you shouldnt share. Feedback is a developers bread and butterwithout it, weve got nothing.
Ive got so much more I want to say, but honestly, for most of you, this post is probably already too long, and youre ready to punch me for writing it. I dont blame youI get it! Nobody likes a wall of text. But hey, sometimes its necessary.
Once again, I know this sounds like a repeat of my last post. I know. I know. Im fully aware of the mistakes, the things that couldve been done better, and the things that can be done better. Ill do my best to improve whats within my ability. This whole process has been a massive learning experience for mesomething Ill carry with me into Book 2 of Elleria to make it far better than what Book 1 is.
Elleria Book 1 is rough. It has its moments, and it has its downsides. But on a personal levelspeaking only for myselfIm satisfied with it.
When I started this, I didnt have any specific intent. For me, it was my storya reflection of my thoughts on our world, my opinions, and my views. I turned it into something meaningful for myself, and then I decided to share it with the world because well, why not?
So, despite its flawsflaws that can be improved onIm happy with it.
Its not everyones cup of tea, and I respect that. But the important thing is... it doesnt have to be. Its mine. And Ill gladly share this cup with those who want a sip, while respecting those who dont. Whatever the case may be, I hope you enjoy the conclusion of Book 1 and Chapter 5.
Its been a long road, and honestly, my car tires are flat, and Im out of fuel. But dont worryIve got a mechanic. Ill see you around sooner than you might think.
Once again, dont hesitate to reach out to me on Discord. Im always there and available for chit-chat, questions, or anything in between!

Hello there! Its been a year without updates (I know, what a clich joke, but I couldnt help it).
Finally, Chapter 4 is here! I wish I couldve finished it earlierI really intended tobut I was hit by some misfortunes and health issues that badly steered my ship off course.
Im still not at one hundred percent, but with the help of some medication, I was able to find the strength to sit down and resume my work. For now, lets hope things stay that way on the health front.
Moving on to Elleria itself, its important to note that Chapter 5 will be the last and final update for Elleria Book 1thats going to be a wrap from me. However, that doesnt mean your journey is over, and it certainly doesnt mean my work is done.
Even without feedback from you kind folks, Im well aware of many issues that need to be addressed, and my to-do list is anything but short.
Once Chapter 5 is finished (which is my main focus at the moment), Ill deliver another update before Elleria leaves Early Access and proceeds to full release.
I also plan to go back and rewrite or rework Chapters I and II so theyre on par with Chapters III and onward. Frankly, the writing cant even compare right nowChapters I and II make the rest of the game look bad by comparison.
There are also a few more items on my to-do list. While Ill say upfront that Elleria Book II wont be started right away, rest assured theres something else in the works!
With Elleria Book 1 wrapped, Ill be focusing on adding more content to the game. Id like to share a bit of information about what that will involve.
One of the upcoming updates will focus on the war table systema standalone update that lets you influence the game world and its political state. This will be a choice-based feature presented mostly in a textual format. Its aimed at those who enjoy interactive, narrative-driven elements; if thats not your cup of tea, youre free to skip it!
With Chapter 4 comes the introduction of a new character named Silas Varros. I wont say much more to avoid spoilers, but youll notice a certain aspect Ive added that I intend to explore further.
Although this is already explained in the game, Ill repeat it here for clarity. If you like what you see of Silas in Chapter 4, youll have the chance to play as him in Ellerias DLC.
In the DLC, youll step into the role of a professional assassin under Eliots mentorship, indulging in some classic stabby gameplay across Elleria through multiple choice-based missions.
I could go on, but this post is already long enough! So, without further ado, I hope you enjoy Chapter 4.
As I mentioned before, Im fully aware of Ellerias flaws and shortcomings. Rest assured, they have not escaped the watchful gaze of Azhaqtel, and they will be dealt withmercilessly!
v0.9.1 - Bug Fix
- Fixed the issue where player chosen name wasn't grabbed by the code in Chapter III Ending.
- Elleria - Unto the End, added into the music room.

Phew! This has been quite the workload. The longest update so far, and while I originally planned to end it sooner, I decided not to cut any content. This ended up being more than I initially anticipatedbut it's done now!
With that said, Chapter III is officially wrapped up! I hope this update will give you more than the usual one-hour playthrough. The patch notes are listed below.
There's not much else to say for now. I'll see you again soon with the start of Chapter IV. On that note, we're getting closer to the end of Book 1 of Elleriajust Chapters 4 and 5 to go, and then it's a wrap!
More info on that, as well as what comes next, will be coming soon.
Till next time!
v0.9 - Chapter III: End.
- Chapter III Completed.
- Music Room Added.
- Font Adjustments.
- New Sound Effects.
- Additional Soundtracks.

As promised, if it could've been done earlier then it would've been done and updated earlier. With initial plans for Friday and possible Sunday, I've managed to wrap it up earlier than I thought, so, as always, here's approximately an additional hour of gameplay!
Before leaving the patch notes below, along with the new changes and/or additions as always. A small note that I'm listening and watching.
Especially for your feedbacks/suggestions and/or otherwise. The most noted one so far, that seems to be repeated is regarding the adult scenes... patience is a virtue, knowledge doesn't come overnight. But you'll find one new adult scene in this update, one where I tried to improve upon such scenes. As much as time granted me anyway. But I'll let you judge it , and has it improved in comparison to the past ones.
I'll wait for your words on it!
v0.8 - Chapter III - Part II
- Story continues.
- Rework on Eliot's character body textures.
- Typos hunted down and destroyed with extreme prejudice.
- Font Changes for easier reading. (This may change further, depending on how it goes.)
- More Steam Achievements! Who doesn't like being a collector, anyway?
- GUI Tweaks & Fixes.
- Prologue, Chapter I&PII, All slow dissolve functions to 2. ( What this means, it gets rid of heavy delay previously present, making it smoother. Faster. This isn't the last of tweaks in regards to this.)
- New Gallery Additions. (Quite simple to unlock!)
- Codex: World Lore - New Entries.
See you soon with another one! ( Maybe sooner than you expect! )

Hello lads and lasses!
With Elleria's upcoming Early Access release on November 1st, I've decided to create this brief introduction and share a few notes on what you can expect from the game in its current state.
First and foremost, Elleria is a story-heavy, story-focused game, crafted for those who love a world brimming with magica wholly different existence. Its for minds that can wander in wonder, ever-expanding, ever-longing. If you're looking for the somewhat typical very hot and steamy games, I must disappoint youthis isn't one of them! ( Well, not in the standard sense one may be used when it comes to these! )
However, if youre here for hours of immersive fantasy reading filled with magic, dragons, wars, and romance, drama, plot-twists and more! Then welcome! Be warned, though, that Elleria's story is complex. Youll encounter puzzles and fragments, mystery and darkness, and its my intent, as a writer, to encourage players to draw their own conclusions, make assumptions, think, and stay in the dark. Dont be discouraged! Remember, when it feels like nothing makes sense, that you are lost. Don't lose hope. Piece by piece things come together and you may yet find the light you seekthe pieces of the puzzle will click into place.
(And if you're curious or feeling impatient, never fear! Join us on Discord. I love nothing more than debating lore and listening to theories about how the story forms and unfolds!)
While Elleria is an adult visual novel, its adult content is intended to be meaningful and immersive. That said, these scenes were not my primary focus during the extremely exhausting development process. Though they were crafted with care, they may reflect my relative inexperience with the creation tools used.
The journey hasnt been quick or easyranging from hardware incompatibility to time limitations and more. Game development is a challenging road! BUTI'm pleased to say it's improving with each update as I become more familiar with the software. The quality continues to get better, but don't expect the elaborate animations you might find in similar games just yet. Keyword: yet!
Ellerias beginning is a bit rough around the edges. Playing through it myself, I was struck by the difference between Chapter III and earlier chapters, both in terms of visuals and writing.
I'm writing this long post because I want players to know what to expect rather than diving in blindly. I hope this helps set expectations, offers a bit of understanding for the current roughness, and gives you something to look forward to.
Elleria is a big project, and it will take time to flourish. This is why we have Early Accessto gather feedback, feedback, feedback. I can't stress enough how valuable it is to developers!
Finally, I should get back to writing, but I hope whats available at release sparks your interest and leaves you wanting more.
See you soon!
