Demo Tweaks and Previews | December Progress Update

Hello! Thank you all for playing the Isle of Reveries demo and leaving feedback and reviews! A lot of progress was made on updating the demo and the full game:

Demo Updates & Tweaks

A number of updates to the demo version were pushed in December, including:

Map screen now shows if a room has a staircase in it.
Water and pits are now more forgiving, letting you escape falling in during a brief 0.5s window.
Enemies have a 0.5s buffer before they start moving and attacking when the player enters the sam grid as them.

Isle of Reveries is a GameBoy Color-inspired action-adventure puzzle game where you make a pilgrimage across the desecrated Land in the Sky. Fight through eight mysterious dungeons, each with their own unique themes and puzzles, meeting charming anthropomorphic characters along the way.

Use your fairy companion’s magic to duplicate and spawn a variety of objects in the world, and discover how they interact with your robust set of items to solve head-scratching puzzles.

A large world that doesn’t hold the player’s hand, filled with charming anthropomorphic characters.
Eight dungeons, each with their own distinct theme and key item.
Key items that are useful in both combat and puzzle solving, and remain so after completing the dungeons they’re found in.
Use the fairy companion to copy and spawn various objects found in the world, including puzzle blocks, torches, mushrooms, and more.
Dedicated jump button so that there’s always space to equip the most relevant items.
Take a break from the adventure and enjoy bug catching and fishing.
