Development Progress
Today I will explain to you the phone call that Yvonne received from her assistant in the morning.

But before anything else, I want to point out that the "Game Characters" guide is available to you with an overview of all the characters that have been added to the game so far. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3306974815

Okay, let's go in order. First, a brief explanation of the financial report... If you look at the report, you'll see that it's a little shorter now than it was at the beginning: that's because we've removed lines that aren't needed at this stage of the game.
Item number 13 "Bank Account" is an important item, but it is not the only one that is important. The trigger for many events is actually not the balance of the account, but the balance of the item under the number 12 - the difference between expenses and income called "Profit & Loss". When the assistant tells Yvonne the financial situation on Mondays, she doesn't mention the account balance at all, but the "Profit & Loss" item. Why? Simply because the point of doing business is doing business positively. That is, having more income than expenses.

This whole story above about "Profit & Loss" is because that is one of the triggers that starts the assistant's phone call. Profit & Loss must be positive. The second trigger is the game date: it must be greater than or equal to August 1st (the game starts on Monday July 1st).
The assistant informs Yvonne that they have been approved to work in two shifts and that Yvonne now has a new control interface at her disposal. At the end of the conversation, Yvonne automatically receives a job market on the screen and can immediately schedule waitresses for job interviews.
After selecting the waitresses, Yvonne gets a completely new management interface where she has access to financial data, employee data, the ability to change prices and work schedules (note: the price list and work schedule are only available on Mondays).
As one of the public services, Yvonne has at her disposal the Real Estate. In that place, she can get information about the buildings she owns, but also information about the buildings she can buy in order to expand her business.
The price for a larger cafe is not listed, but Yvonne should call the Real Estate Agency and arrange a tour of the facility and find out the price.
After the telephone agreement, there will be a tour of the building and negotiations about the price of the building and the method of payment.
Satisfied with the agreement reached, Yvonne returns to the office and informs the assistant of the news.
After the advance payment in the amount of 20,000, the time of 10 to 15 days, which is necessary for the new building to be arranged, begins to flow.
As a notice to guests and staff, the relocation date is always visible on "Live Mode".

What will the new, larger cafe and the new office look like and what will happen there - about that in the next edition of Devlog. Stay tuned!

Brothel Tycoon is a simulation game where you have to help Yvonne, in any way possible, including sex if necessary, to develop her business from a small cafe to a luxury entertainment place for adults.
After Yvonne buys the cafe, it is necessary to find employees. This part starts with choosing the secretary (which is a kind of game AI) and after that you need to choose the waitresses for the cafe.
During the game, when conditions are met, Yvonne can expand her business by hiring female dancers and opening a dance club.
Further development of the business enables the employment of additional employees such as maids, hookers, security guards and nurses.
During the game, it is possible to determine working days and shifts for employees, hire new ones and give notice to existing ones.
In addition, the basic task is to determine the prices of the services offered by the facility (in the range from -25 to +25% of the base prices).
Although the game engine is Ren'Py, this is not a classic visual novel. This game is a business simulation with elements of strategy.
There are elements of a visual novel in the game, but they are in the function of management and the selection of further actions and tasks.
In addition to the conversations between the game's characters (which is performed in the form of a visual novel), the game also has a "Live Mode" where the player follows the events in various parts of the facility (café, dance and/or night club) and has an insight into all the actions that the employees do.
It is possible to see the waitresses while they serve the guests, but it is also possible to see the dancers and hookers while they serve their guests.
As a bonus, Yvonne has an additional option, which is not to pay the bills with money (see picture below)...
