A brand new Quick Matches section has been introduced to Forever World Cup Simulator! This section lets you casually simulate match results of recent international matches and friendlies, following the real-life schedule.
This section will be prominently displayed on the homepage for a time. Afterward, it will move back to the navigation sidebar (hamburger icon). Each page contains matches organized by month. You can use the calendar feature to select any specific month you wish to explore.
You can re-simulate as many matches as you like, and then delete them using the "Delete" button at the bottom of the page.
It is also worth noting that most matches follow their real-life rules. For instance, the Merdeka Cup in September 2024 features Malaysia vs. Philippines and Lebanon vs. Tajikistan, which can have extra time and penalty shootouts if necessary. Additionally, certain matches, such as Russia vs. Thailand, are set to take place in neutral venues (Vietnam), so there will be no home advantage for either team.
However, keep in mind that the Elo ratings and other attributes of the teams will be impacted by the simulations. Just like the Head-to-head section, these changes cannot be undone even if you delete all friendlies results in this section. You need to delete all tournaments to reset teams' attributes. To make navigating through matches easier, we've added a floating pagination button at the right corner of the screen. Click this button to view more matches of the same month.
Currently, the database includes matches from September and October 2024. However, you are guaranteed that more months will be added over time, ensuring that you always have the latest international matches to simulate.
