From now on, all competition updates will only take effect when you start a new save, unless absolutely necessary. Your current save will remain unchanged.
Commonwealth Games
The Commonwealth Games will kick off with a preliminary stage, where the lowest-ranked 24 teams will be divided into 6 groups. From this stage, the top 8 teams will advance to a 48-team qualifying round.

The finals will no longer be seeded based on teams' Elo ratings. Instead, seeding will be determined by the standings from the qualifiers and playoffs, so if teams like New Zealand qualifying for the finals via the playoff round, they will be placed in the last pot.

Additionally, England will have a performance adjustment applied to this event, since it is pretty reasonable to assume that they would field a B-team for an even like this. Feel free to change the adjustment if you disagree.

The updated format will become available once you start a new save.
Team's "Groups" UI redesigned
The "Groups" tab on the team overview card has been revamped for clarity. The previous clutter of small country flags has been replaced with a clean table layout that displays all members along with their attributes and Elo ratings.
Underdog special attributes
San Marino and Liechtenstein now have an "underdog" attribute. It is because when you look at their match results in real life, they often perform better against stronger European teams than their Elo ratings suggest. This attribute will be applied with a 70% chance as long as their elo rating is below 1000.

Mali has an "extreme hot weather" attribute that will be applied when they are playing at home, since they are the hottest country in the world.
