v1.2 is OUT Now!
To be honest... Im surprised at how fast Im working, considering this project is entirely made by me. In February I took a whole month off. I thought I would work more on the game, but I didnt because I was feeling too stressed. In the end that break helped me come up with new ideas. If I hadnt taken that time, the project would have no direction today. Right now, I have a lot of new ideas. Before adding new levels Id like to improve the games aesthetics a bit more, especially the UI. So, I hope to release another major patch soon. Probably by version 1.5, EA will end and well move on to more 'stable' versions. I dont plan on stopping development even after Early Access ends. I have no intention of creating a 'final version' until I feel satisfied, and that will probably take years. My only plan right now is to refine the mechanics and UI, create a demo, promote the game more, and exit Early Access (and, of course, add new content, fully open the game modes, and everything else). From that turning point, Ill focus on creating even cooler things. Im not like other devs who give up. Unfortunately, I get very little feedback, but my goal isnt to make money or become famous. My only goal is to finish the game. I dont care if I have 5 or 1,000 people supporting me. At the end of the day, focusing on results often leads to pessimism, so I just focus on fulfilling my desire to complete a serious game.

Finally! Version 1.2 is here.
Patch Notes:
- No Hit Mode is now open! In this game mode you must complete levels as quickly as possible without getting hit even once. Levels have moderate difficulty but some of them are extremely frustrating due to their length. I hope you enjoy this new challenge. I created a page with 18 new levels.
- Global Ranking: Every time you complete a new level, your score will be uploaded. The ranking considers the number of completed levels + the total time you took to complete them. Its time to tryhard those scores and 100% all pages.
- Live enemy counter... yeah. I just created a new type of level: MASSACRE. In this submode you must eliminate all enemies to win.
- New portal mechanics. Doors that teleport you to other doors within the same level for more dynamic gameplay.
- Fixed a jump bonus mechanic issue. Previously you couldn't get the extra jump at the moment of eating an extra jump alfajor in mid-air (it would only be granted after touching the ground). Now, you can immediately jump again upon eating one, even in mid-air.
- Performance improvements. Now, at the start of the game, only one object is created to control almost all aspects. By unifying almost everything into a single instance, everything runs better. I can still optimize this further but this is already a big step.
- Code structure improvements. I optimized a lot of scripts, but the most important one was the one handling achievements. Previously, each achievement had three lines of code. Now, I group achievements of the same type into a single line and also create a grid to manage all of them, specifying certain values without redundancy. Before: 280 lines for 80 achievements. Now: 40 lines.
- New background images. Specifically in the leaderboards I added images to enhance the UIs aesthetics. It looks much better now. Previously it had a plain black background.
- Leaderboard ranking visuals improved: if another player took the same amount of time as you to complete a level, you will appear first (each player will see themselves ranked above others with the same score from their own perspective).
- Better leaderboard navigation. I created buttons to switch between modes and easily access the global ranking without having to return to the main menu.
- For now, there will no longer be support for languages other than English and Spanish. This is because the translations for other languages were mediocre. Until I can create a proper localization, I dont see the point in offering more languages in the game. In the future, I might hire professional translators to create high-quality localizations.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
