ExoColony Updated to version 0.67

Hello Colonists! Were excited to announce the release of our v0.67 Update for ExoColony: Planet Survival! This update includes tweaks, bug fixes, and performance enhancements to improve your gameplay experience.

Bug Fixes


* Low productivity notification fixed (not shown when build was empty). * Food incubator now can be turned on/off. * Colonist tooltip fixed. * Added build time time to missing items. * Added ability to open Airlock (when it is turned off). * Calculation of utilization in Food Incubator fixed. * Utilization calculation added to Moss, Air Filter and Air Purifier. * Colonist tags are now displayed in colonists overview if some problems exists.

Graphics


* Fixed a bug where the background atmosphere turned black unexpectedly.

Locallization


* Fixed czech language in intro texts. * Added missing strings in all languages * Updated names in research and buildings section.

Balancing & New Features


* Initial visibility on maps around ship reduced. * Speed of unlocking new research has been adjusted to steadily pace. * Ice Melter research moved to early stage & Ice Melter recipe upgrade has been removed. * Moss fixed and rebalanced. * Vent Center updated to start working a bit later. (If other filtering/producing buildings are filtering gases, Vent Center would remain inactive or as support to those buildings. That results longer life of Vent Center). * Biowaste removed from production limits. * Ship Liquid Tanker capacity has been reduced from 200 -> 100. * Added upgrade button to Foundations and Lifts. * Added info how effective AirFilter is. * Pollution cycle rebalanced. * Gas Cylinder is now separate research. * Water recycling recipes updated. * Power consumption adjusted for Education Center (4,5 -> 3). * Power consumption adjusted for Pollution Recycler (5 -> 2). * Speed up reaction time on CTRL or SHIFT modifier in production limit window. * Changes in priority and workers limit can apply to all builds of the same type if CTRL or SHIFT is pressed.

Welcome to an exciting survival colony simulation game that takes you into the vastness of the cosmos!

Starting with a small group of colonists, you're tasked to mine resources, refine materials, build structures, and innovate with new technologies. Across generations and centuries, you'll expand your settlement into a thriving civilization and terraform the planet to make it your new home.

Prosper Through the Ages

Colonists are born, educated, work, retire, and die. Over generations, their needs may evolve, dedication may diminish, and mutations may arise.

Principle of Mass Conservation

Nothing simply disappears. Every bit of material transforms into something new. Resources follow their own cycles, involving production, consumption, and recycling.

Food

Transform barren soil into fertile farmland using materials from your surroundings. Melt ice for water, use the water to grow food, and then purify it for reuse. Balance these elements and watch your colony thrive on the food you produce.

Atmosphere

Convert exhaled carbon dioxide back into oxygen for your colonists. Tackle industrial pollution and manage various gases. As your base expands, maintaining atmospheric pressure becomes essential.

Industry

Begin with mining ores and minerals, refine them into advanced materials essential for constructing buildings and crafting items. With each step, transform raw resources into the foundational elements of your expanding colony.

Terraformation (during EA)

Transform the planet's surface and temperature to make it habitable by managing temperature control, ecosystem growth, and water resources. Create a breathable atmosphere and turn the planet into your new home.

  • Research: Unlock new possibilities, buildings, and recipes via the research tree.
  • Power: Generate and store energy from diverse sources.
  • Logistic: Manage logistics of your expanding colony with drones.
  • Game Events: Strange things can happen in the cosmos. Some events might be nice, but some, well you will see for yourself.
  • Space Management: Deal with the material you don't need.
  • Luxury Food and Goods (during EA): Produce various items to keep colonists productive.
  • Free time (during EA): Meet colonist social needs to prevent unrest.
  • Temperature (during EA): Control the temperature within your colony and on the planet.
  • Mutations (during EA): Turn the mutations in the alien world to your advantage.
During EA means that mechanics is not in the game yet and will be finished during Early Access.
