Colonists are born, educated, work, retire, and die. Over generations, their needs may evolve, dedication may diminish, and mutations may arise.
Principle of Mass Conservation
Nothing simply disappears. Every bit of material transforms into something new. Resources follow their own cycles, involving production, consumption, and recycling.
Food
Transform barren soil into fertile farmland using materials from your surroundings. Melt ice for water, use the water to grow food, and then purify it for reuse. Balance these elements and watch your colony thrive on the food you produce.
Atmosphere
Convert exhaled carbon dioxide back into oxygen for your colonists. Tackle industrial pollution and manage various gases. As your base expands, maintaining atmospheric pressure becomes essential.

Please note that this update BREAKS previously SAVED GAMES.
We have maintained save compatibility since September 2024, but recent changes such as building size adjustments made it no longer feasible. To avoid future disruptions, weve bundled all breaking changes into this update and do not plan to break save compatibility again going forward.

* Added new edict:* Stable Population - While active, whenever Colonists die, there will be automatic replenishment with a newborn.

* Advanced Foundations & Advanced Lifts now correctly grant increased speed bonuses.* Storages can be now turned off. All items are moved to other storages. Same situation happens when the storage is being demolished. So the stored items are not lost!
* Air Filter now filters selected gas into Gas Cylinder if there is one in range.
* Atmosphere & Pressure fixed - There were reports that whatever you do, there is a shortage of nitrogen in the atmosphere. In the end everything was set correctly, but 5x-10x lower than intended. So when the Ship Ventcenter was depleted, there was only an option to merge new rooms to get extra pressure. Now Nitrogen Generator generates more Nitrogen and consumes less Soil. Same rules go for Oxygen Generator, Pollution Recycler, Electrolyzer and Hydrogen Power Generator
[u]Performance[/u]
* We made significant optimizations in colonist's pathfinding. So there should be no longer spike lags with higher counts of colonists.Happy colonizing!

Today it is not an usual update. We had a lot of meetings in the past few weeks, because we needed to see the bigger picture of where our game is heading. Thanks to our testers, who reported that information and game mechanics was really fast going and in overall a lot of mechanics were fast paced.
So we decided to make a couple of big changes in gameplay, which I can already confirm were pretty good decisions and the game is already looking much cleaner, slower paced, clearer and more chill to play.

[list] - We understand that colony sim games can be overwhelming with all the things you need to learn to make things work. So we decided after a small tutorial YOU will be in charge of what do you want and need to do next. Running low on storage? No problem just research bigger storage or store into dumpsites, etc.
- Each colonist will produce passively research points. Higher educated colonists will yield higher amounts, but with no education you can expect very little gain. But each researcher in the Research Center will help you with points.
