The good news is that we've upgraded the systems of our testing program so that it will run better than ever and on more systems than ever! The bad news is that in doing so, save data will not transfer over to the new version. We deeply and sincerely apologize for your loss of progress and strongly suggest you use the official FripTech Walkthrough to get back to where you were in the testing program. Lastly, if you did lose data and you're upset by that, we completely understand. We had hoped it wouldn't come to this, but alas it was due to forces beyond our control. Hello, test subjects! Our journey together continues and I'm pleased to announce that FripOS Version 1.1.3 is now available! We've been closely observing your testing protocols, and I'm glad to say we've gotten some very useful feedback. Fortunately, it seems we had very few bugs mutate out of the last update, so this update is primarily quality of life changes. I'd like to offer my special thanks to everyone who's been streaming their testing on your Earth websites "Twitch", "TikTok", and "YouTube" as it has provided us with invaluable data on which to develop our changes! Thanks to our FripTech Subspace Satellites, we're able to receive your digital data in real time despite being several million lightyears away! • Analog controller deadzone is now set to 50 by default instead of 0.
• "Quit" option now displays "Save and Quit" to indicate that your progress will be recorded.
• Added special room titles to most of the rooms which often contain hints.
• Added an extra FripTech Pushable Crate to Course 2-4 and increased the charges of the Deployable Bridge to reduce test subject frustration.
• Updated the guide after the changes to Course 2-4.
• Reduced the speed of the Zappy Balls on Course 3-9 to reduce test subject accidental electrocutions.

Hello, test subjects! I hope you're all having lots of fun and learning a ton while exploring FripTech! I'm pleased to announce that FripOS Version 1.1.2 is now available with plenty of lovely quality of life improvements that many of you have requested along with several bug fixes that were unfortunately causing some issues. The demonstration version has also been updated, so you shouldn't experience any of these issues in that version, either. You can have a look at the complete change notes below, but I'm sure you'll notice a few of them once you resume your testing procedures! We're collecting a lot of valuable data and your accomplishments are being noticed! After all, science is just as much about knowing the answers as it is about finding them. • Froop now has an animation for pushing FripTech Pushable Crates! He kicks them which, I suppose is technically a form of pushing.
• Dying while pushing a FripTech Pushable Crate no longer softlocks the game.
• Fixed an issue where timescale changes when pausing or skipping a cutscene could break the pause menu (that was a tricky one!).
• Fixed an issue with voice lines continuing when completing a room with multiple characters speaking.
• Froop is no longer frozen upon starting a new save in the Demo or the Main Campaign.
• Expanded the Graphics menu to the Graphics and Gameplay menu!
• Added a brightness slider to the Graphics and Gameplay menu.
• Added an option to adjust the deadzone of your controller's analog stick to the Graphics and Gameplay menu.
• Added a Restart button to the pause menu.
• Pobodys Nerfect is now awarded when using Reset from the menu.
• Cleaned up a rogue puddle of Science Goo under the floor in 5-10 causing collision issues.
• Fixed a collision issue in the final areas.
• Fixed a visual bug in 6-8.
• Fixed an audio bug in the fourth final area.
• Used the Atom Smasher on a few minor bugs. They shouldn't trouble us again. Unless, of course, they somehow mutate due to the radiation, but that's highly unlikely.
