Challenging turn-based combat with a twist
Battle through tactical turn-based combat where death is always just around the corner, made more challenging due to a simple rule: Every turn, units must move and attack. No waiting for enemies to come to you, and be mindful of your more destructive units - they may take down a few allies if you're not careful.

Battle powerful, dark foes
Venture across the land and into the depths below to fight off corrupt, menacing creatures not of this world. Powerful bosses, life leeching enemies, and more await you in the depths.

Build your party
Gain XP through battles and events and spend it to hire, promote, and upgrade units as you see fit to build a powerful party.

It\'s been a little bit since the last update, but that\'s only because the playtesters have been hard at work running the game through its paces, and today I\'m pleased to share the results of that endeavor with you! As opposed to the previous updates, which contained a full changelog, there\'s really too many changes to go through them one-by-one, so instead here\'s the major changes:
Unit placement
You can now place your units before starting battle, letting you get everyone positioned just right. The game will also automatically place your units at approximately the same starting position from battle to battle, subject to map constraints.

Key rebinding
You can now rebind the keyboard shortcuts to suit your play style. Note that only keyboard inputs can be rebound. Mouse and controller inputs are fixed.

Blocked attack previews
Units will now show hatched attack cells to reflect areas they may be able to attack after other units move out of their way.

Other significant changes:
Version number is now displayed on the main menu. You\'ll notice the version number in-game is different from the previous demo versions shared on Steam so that it aligns to the full game\'s release version.
