Greetings all!
It’s a glorious day, as v1.8 Shattered Kingdom has emerged in Armello! Jump in RIGHT NOW! What are you waiting for?!

here. Along with the primary features that you can peruse below, we’ve done a lot of audio work and just generally tightened screws all over the place. We really hope you dig it.

The King has received some
serious pampering with all of the trimmings like tantalising animations, delicious audio and sweet, sweet particle effects.
- New Animations and Treatment for Endgame Victory Sequences: Spirit Stone, Rot and Prestige.
- New Dusk and Dawn animations.
- Updated animations and textures that demonstrate the King's degeneration in-game
- Updated Combat Defence animation

Here we have some
new cards!
King’s Guard Armour favours characters with larger dice stacks and assists heroes in taking control of their fate, allowing a more reliable spread of useful rolls.
If you’re wondering, yes, like the Hare's Halberd all King’s Guards have this item equipped, and it will exist in the deck. This is an overall buff for King’s Guards, improving their defenses and further fortifying their role as blockers on the map.
Reaper’s Trident is a powerful Treasure that leverages Poison Dice in a big way. Pair this with other items that lock in Swords to cause the Poison Dice to resolve later, hopefully bypassing your opponent's shields.
Fury Mode is a fast paced, intense version of Armello available in House Rules. It’s less about carefully analysing the board for the most optimal play, and more about following your gut and taking action.
And a Few Extras...
As mentioned earlier, you’ll definitely note some audio love has been put into this update. Additionally, we have a fun little thing that some of you might like to play around with, you can now customise your “Classic Dice”. This will only work for your client and won’t be visible for your opponents.
Within the launch options for Armello in Steam, add the following lines to link to your own Dice textures and normal maps. Image file types that are accepted are PNG and JPEG. You can find some resources attached to
this thread on our own forums.
