Fury Friday - 8th of September
This coming Friday will be a FURY FRIDAY! As always, it'll be longer than 24 hours to hit as many Fridays as we can around the world. It will begin roughly 2:00pm Thursday PDT and it will conclude at roughly 2:00am on Saturday PDT. When Fury Friday is active, games started through Public Multiplayer will have the Fury Mode House Rule active and the King will have one less health. This will mean quick, action packed Armello experiences to mix things up in the multiplayer queue. In case you are unaware, here are the key elements of Fury Mode
Also, slightly unrelated but remember that the Anniversary Event is still live and will remain as such until Thursday the 7th of September (PDT). I'll have a fun little FAQ below because I just know you've got questions. Happy gaming!
Not currently, but maybe eventually. We're just feeling out the vibe, playing it by ear and also other metaphors.
That's a bummer, I hope you at least try it once or twice but I'm not going to tell you how to live your life. You can still play classic Armello in singleplayer and private multiplayer if your heart so desires. Otherwise, here's a few other activities you can do during this time:
Maybe one day, but our current infrastructure supports one so that's how things will be until further notice. My name is Darcy, not "Two Queue Terry", okay.
As said above, it will begin roughly 2:00pm Thursday PDT and it will conclude at roughly 2:00am on Saturday PDT. If you're not in the PDT timezone then all is lost and life is chaos (or use a cool widgetty thing like this to convert the time for you). Also, I say roughly because we are merely meat creatures on a rock floating through existence, and anything can happen. Someone might challenge us to a cardboard armour duel or something idk.
Listen I'm just trying to spread my wings over here, let me get weird with it.

Hello, furious Armellians,
This coming Friday will be a FURY FRIDAY!
- Very short turn times
- Turn timer pauses in combat and perils
- Burndown timer reduced in combat and perils
- A short card draw timer applies per card
- Questing / Hidden encounter timer is no longer independent, and instead adds time to your current turn timer
- Shortened King’s Declaration timer
- Shortened transitional sequences and AI animations
- Instead of resetting the timer, taking actions grants seconds to your current turn.
- Visualisation implemented for turn timer adjustments
- Timer is visible at all times
Also, slightly unrelated but remember that the Anniversary Event is still live and will remain as such until Thursday the 7th of September (PDT). I'll have a fun little FAQ below because I just know you've got questions. Happy gaming!

"Does Fury Friday happen every Friday?"
Not currently, but maybe eventually. We're just feeling out the vibe, playing it by ear and also other metaphors.
"I don't like Fury Mode, what do I do in this time?"
That's a bummer, I hope you at least try it once or twice but I'm not going to tell you how to live your life. You can still play classic Armello in singleplayer and private multiplayer if your heart so desires. Otherwise, here's a few other activities you can do during this time:
- Find a cardboard box and duct tape. Use it to craft armour and challenge a friend to friendly duel.
- Do a real-life trickery play and tell a friend that a mutual friend of yours was talking smack about them behind their back. There's no better way to assert your dominance.
- Bake a chocolate caramel cheesecake (obviously, the closest real-life action to casting a spell).
"Can you please create two queues so that it's optional"
Maybe one day, but our current infrastructure supports one so that's how things will be until further notice. My name is Darcy, not "Two Queue Terry", okay.
"When will this event begin and when will it end?"
"This whole FAQ is weird and I'm uncomfortable."
Listen I'm just trying to spread my wings over here, let me get weird with it.

Armello is a grand swashbuckling adventure that combines three styles of play; The deep tactics of card games with the rich strategy of table top board games, combined with a character role-playing system.
As a hero from one of the clans of Armello, you'll quest, scheme, hire agents, explore, vanquish monsters, cast spells and face off against other players, with one ultimate end goal in mind — storming the palace and becoming King or Queen of Armello. The Kingdom of Armello is as dangerous as it is beautiful, perils, banes and bandits hide around every corner and a spreading corruption known as the rot is leaving no creature untouched.
Armello is League of Geeks’ attempt to revolutionise digital board and card games, whilst providing players a rich world within which they can craft their own stories of epic adventure. The aim was to create a rich game full of backstabbing, close shaves, shattered alliances, ruses and empty promises - a perfect game to play with your friends.
