What's new?

Improved controls The game's physics system has been upgraded. The controls are much tighter and the gameplay is more fast-paced. Players can now lock their movement while shooting (by holding the jump button) and jump through platforms (by pressing down and jump). Coop mode is more enjoyable too as players can now jump in at any checkpoint. Cooler powerups Thanks to the awesome feedback from the Steam community we have redesigned the weapons in the game. It's also possible to switch between available weapons by pressing the start button. Better graphics The game is more colorful and runs at a higher frame rate than before. For added authenticity, the new graphics filters allow you to experience 8BC as if you're playing on an old-school CRT.
Cloud saves Please note that the new version of 8BC uses the Steam Cloud, so your progress may be lost when you upgrade for the first time. No need to panic though, you can just enter the following cheat code from the title screen to unlocks all levels: [spoiler]UP UP UP DOWN DOWN DOWN LEFT RIGHT[/spoiler]

What's next?

We will be rolling out different features in the upcoming few weeks. The online hiscores and achievements will become available as soon as we are sure everything works properly so please be patient.
