Family: Cervidae Species name: Odocoileus Vaginaianus Size: Medium Temperament: Docile These fast sprinting natives travel across the plains in groups. While they have been witnessed foraging alone, they prefer the company of other Rudier when possible. They are an extremely wary species, and even the slightest noise can set them off and send them scattering in all directions. However, it is possible to gradually get them used to human contact. They seem to have a distinct migratory pattern, choosing to graze at various stop points across the plains. These stop points are often locations for spontaneous orgies as well. Early observations would conclude they only mate within their species, but they have been spotted fornicating with several other creatures on the island.
Family: Apidae Scientific name: Bumbus Size: Tiny Temperament: Docile Unlike most species of bee found throughout the world, the Sweedee is stingless. It serves the same purpose as bees do in various ecosystems: pollinating and fertilizing flowers. Unlike many of the other docile species found on Sapphire Island, the Sweedee is not afraid of predators. In fact, it will gladly take any opportunity it can to have sex with any species. They are also the only species currently discovered capable of sustained flight. Bees are primarily active during the daytime, but observations have been made of creatures raiding the Sweedee hive at night to aggressively copulate with the creature. It is unsure if the spreading of various sperm from all creature types helps the growth of the flora on the island or not, regardless, Sweedees are important to the ecosystem.
Family: Crocodylidae Species name: Crocodylus Porosuck Size: Small Temperament: Predatory Caiadaly is usually found anywhere where there is water. They especially enjoy waterholes and riverways where they can fully submerge themselves and lie in wait for prey. They are also more than willing to emerge from the water and chase down their prey if it's necessary. While they pose no threat to human life, one should be wary of them when setting up equipment or attempting to take photographs near bodies of water. Caiadaly seems especially fond of humans. Unusually small for a member of the Crocodylidae Family the Caiadaly does not need to consume as much, rather they seemed to be focused on sexual pleasure over anything else.
Family: Serpentes Species name: Fuca Fuca Size: Medium Temperament: Predatory One of the larger predators on the island, Kokai prefers to spend their time concealed in tall grass and bushes. They usually wait for unsuspecting prey to pass by them, then strike them down in a sudden burst of movement. They are capable of running incredibly fast over short distances, but they usually tire out pretty quickly as well. When they aren't on the prowl for prey animals, they will either remain out of sight or spend their time sunbathing. The plains are their ideal habitat for these very reasons, as there is plenty of sunlight and grassy areas to hide in. While primarily active during the day, they have been known to enter the burrows of rabbits during dusk as well.
