Lu[Idle] was originally a project for a class I was taking, and I continued working on it after the class was over and as I have thought more about Lu[Idle] I have realized it makes more sense for Lu[Idle] to be a Free game. As I reflect on the quality of Lu[Idle] I don't see a super polished game that deserves to be paid for, I see a passion project that should be available for everyone to try out and play. I will still be working on updates for Lu[Idle]. I just won't be working on it as much as I have previously. I still have a vision for what I want Lu[Idle] to become, it just won't come as soon as I thought it would when I started working on this game. That being said Lu[Idle] will hopefully be free to play by November 17th, but it could very well take longer as it's not just a setting I turn on for the game, it's an application process that Steam has to look into. For people that have already purchased the game I thank you for buying it and supporting me, and if you are disappointed, I am sorry. With more people in the Lu[Idle] community hopefully more people will be hoping for updates and therefor I might be more motivated to actually work on Lu[Idle]. I do want to say that I can't guarantee Lu[Idle] stays free forever because I might choose to make it paid again when it fully releases. I'll see.

Lu[Idle] 0.61
- You now may release any game you would like as long as you have released the previous one before. - You now may not keep grinding for Pre-Orders after completing the current game. - When closing and reopening the game your pre-orders should be the right value instead of doubling.
Lu[Idle] 0.6 has been a long time in the making and its finally here!
You can find the full patch notes in the discord server but here is a quick overview of what has been changed/added: - The console now has 3 new options at the bottom for switching between the main things that the console did before. - THERE ARE 2 NEW PRESTIGES! they both give extra rewards upon completing them equal to the difficulty of completing them. - There is now many new options that have been moved from the console to the settings menu. - The Lua guide book has been removed as I have made the typing part of the console for secret commands only and moved the things it did before into separate options that are easier to navigate to. I have made a discord server where I will post sneak peaks of the next update and where you can let me know of any bugs you find in the game. join here: Discord I go into more detail in this video: [previewyoutube=3LAv-NSAUN0;leftthumb][/previewyoutube]
Fixed an issue that occurs after your first prestige which breaks the pixel by pixel image.
Content Update - Added a "weak spot" to the Code Bar which adds a +0.1 Multiplier per weak spot clicked to the bytes gained from clicking weak spots. The combo resets along with the multiplier if you fail to click a weak spot within 3 seconds of clicking the previous weak spot. Hot Fix - Fixed an issue where your Pre-orders would be doubled whenever you launched the game. Make sure to leave the game a good review if you like it :)
In this tiny update/fix I changed an array having to do with the number that shows up when you click the code bar which now actually deletes the number after it fades away hopefully fixing performance issues. I also added art to the prestige upgrades. Make sure to give Lu[Idle] a good review if you like it :)
Purchase Lu[Idle] now for $0.89 for a week then it becomes $0.99. The price will be going up with updates so now is the best time to purchase!
The Soonest I can release Lu[Idle] is August 16th, but until then you can watch my recent progress on updating the game here: My YouTube Channel Don't forget to Wishlist the game to help it perform better when it releases! Most recent Dev Log: [previewyoutube=x8I4NXuuPs8;full][/previewyoutube]

In Lu[Idle] you play as a game developer making a Lua game but instead of coding you are clicking. Make your game huge by clicking and getting Bytes which is the amount of storage your game takes up and as we all know more Gigabytes = better game. Type commands into the console to make code that brings your games storage up automatically, upgrade your mouse to gain more bytes per click and drink some coffee for a boost and purchase a server to make your game even bigger. Get immersed and become a Lua game developer today in Lu[Idle]. This game is very early access and is lacking a lot of features that I intend to add and the price will most likely increase as updates come.
Key Features
- Upgradable Code Snippets to Increase your Bytes per Second
- Console to Input various Commands found in the Commands Folder Tab
- Upgrades Tab to Increase your Games Size even more
- Release your game and gain sales to make your future games better (prestige)
- OS: Most Recent
- Processor: AnyMemory: 2 GB RAM
