Lu[Idle] was originally a project for a class I was taking, and I continued working on it after the class was over and as I have thought more about Lu[Idle] I have realized it makes more sense for Lu[Idle] to be a Free game. As I reflect on the quality of Lu[Idle] I don't see a super polished game that deserves to be paid for, I see a passion project that should be available for everyone to try out and play. I will still be working on updates for Lu[Idle]. I just won't be working on it as much as I have previously. I still have a vision for what I want Lu[Idle] to become, it just won't come as soon as I thought it would when I started working on this game. That being said Lu[Idle] will hopefully be free to play by November 17th, but it could very well take longer as it's not just a setting I turn on for the game, it's an application process that Steam has to look into. For people that have already purchased the game I thank you for buying it and supporting me, and if you are disappointed, I am sorry. With more people in the Lu[Idle] community hopefully more people will be hoping for updates and therefor I might be more motivated to actually work on Lu[Idle]. I do want to say that I can't guarantee Lu[Idle] stays free forever because I might choose to make it paid again when it fully releases. I'll see.

In Lu[Idle] you play as a game developer making a Lua game but instead of coding you are clicking. Make your game huge by clicking and getting Bytes which is the amount of storage your game takes up and as we all know more Gigabytes = better game. Type commands into the console to make code that brings your games storage up automatically, upgrade your mouse to gain more bytes per click and drink some coffee for a boost and purchase a server to make your game even bigger. Get immersed and become a Lua game developer today in Lu[Idle]. This game is very early access and is lacking a lot of features that I intend to add and the price will most likely increase as updates come.
