Finally, it's time to push this patch out! Its the biggest one yetthough maybe not as big as one might expect, considering how long it took. I made the slight mistake of diving into the Terraria Calamity mod and Valheim while working on this update, and, unsurprisingly, they ended up being massive time sinks. Still, the patch is now complete enough for releasejust in time before my next distraction drops on Friday.
This update brings quite a lot of new content. Most of it comes in the form of new event types, adding even more variety to each run. The endgame has also seen some major changesevents will continue happening post-end, but enemies will grow significantly tougher. Some events are even exclusive to the late game, offering major challenges to tackle.
May I introduce our two newest crew members: Handy, the parrot handler, and Spy, the... well, spy.
Handy provides you with some flying friends who help dish out extra damage in battles. Spy, on the other hand, can be sent on sabotage and investigation missions aboard enemy ships.
Beyond these two new crew types, every existing crew member now has two new variations, each with a little extra twistsimilar to the frog variants.
As I mentioned earlier, there are plenty of new events in this patch. I wont spoil them all, so get out there and discover them for yourself! Of course, theres also a handful of new trinkets to find.
And what would a patch be without a bunch of bug fixes and balance changes? Naturally, some new bugs will come along for the ride, so please let me know if (or rather, when) you find them!

You're finally fed up with your fleet and their incompetence. Take down all 13 of them one by one and claim your spot at the top. Along the way, you'll discover precious cargo dice that represent your ship's vitality and firepower. You may also encounter friendly merchants, carpenters, and potential crew members eager to join and assist you on your journey.
Your ship's cargo consists of dice, and their total pip values represent your ship's total HP. These dice also influence the number of damage dice you roll in combat. Be careful not to let your cargo's total value reach the dreaded number, as even rolling that in combat can have unfavorable consequences.
