For now, key changes include the addition of Italian and Polish languages (still in progress), a new clearer font, and a defense fix for better performance at higher speeds. These fixes address the errors reported during this week following the launch of the Halloween event (1.2.0).
Bugs:
- In the map "Cuerno Island," there is a path to rare items at the end (reported by "Jesus101").
- One of the maps in the 6th kingdom could not be replayed (reported by "Biscark").
- The troops: Banshee, Standard Bearer, Observer, Mass and Necromancer displayed different classes in different locations (reported by "idiot5k").
- An error in the map "The Confluence" had an issue with route 2, the one with the mills (it was not well defined) (reported by "idiot5k").
- The achievements related to map difficulty only unlocked if you right-clicked with the mouse and not with any other button in the victory menu.
- The cannon did not fire when the game was at speed x6.
- The achievements for difficulty by capital were not activated.
Bugs fixed:
- A bug caused that when skipping the tutorial in its early phases, you couldn't pass waves (Reported by 'mrwwww').
- A bug when playing with a controller caused that when removing a unit from a route in the pre-wave, it didn't return the division. (Reported by 'Jesus101').

Halloween has arrived in Countless Army!
With the launch of version 1.2.0, Halloween is upon us! In some maps, there are special pumpkins that seem to absorb the Lich spell power. The story tells that if you feed them, you will obtain up to six unique skins, only available during the event!
The event starts on October 26 and ends on November 4. With the update, there are also some new features, but not as many as I'd like since time was a bit limited. Here are the highlights of version 1.2.0: The launch of Countless Army on Mac and Linux! Now you can also enjoy Countless Army on those platforms.
Control support. Now the game is fully playable with a control. Enjoy it with your favorite control! The rebellions have been reduced. Now the rebellions pop up with less frequency in the gray skulls and even less in the yellow skulls. The rebel provinces with 3 stars are now also marked.
Replay maps without a rebellion. Do you want to get three stars in each map but dont want them to rebel? Do you want to look for the Halloween pumpkins and have everything conquered? Go ahead, now it is possible! However, if the map isnt one that has rebelled, it won't grant you resources. Reset button for the skill tree. Now the skill tree has a button to reset it, granting you the spent essences. It has a cost depending on how many upgrades you have.
Im sorry I couldnt add everything mentioned in this version, but dont worry, in version 1.3.0, all that couldnt make it to this will come along with some other features! Fixed bugs:
- The achievement of losing once unlocks without losing. (Multiple reports)
- An error made that the achievements of difficulty by maps wasnt unlocked. (Multiple reports)
- A bug made that the achievements of chosen difficulty when conquering all the capitals wasnt unlocked. (multiple reports)
- A bug made that when you erased a game slot the upgrades on the skill tree didnt reset.
Apparently hotfix 1.1.5 brought with it a bug that crashed the game, and this hotfix is to fix that bug. Also, I managed to find the tutorial bug where you could get stuck in the middle of the second wave and not be able to move the camera.
Bugs fixed:
- The spell tutorial was causing the game to crash. (Reported by "Ro11erSk8")
- The initial tutorial could leave you unable to continue due to not being able to move the camera. (Multiple reports)
Before the hotfix of last week that fixed the biggest bugs (the ones that kicked you out of the game or didnt allow you to play correctly) this week is focused on fixing the other reported bugs. Here is the notes of this hotfix:

- Added the option of borderless full screen in the option menu.
- Added the skin Real Engineer for the soldier.
- Added the skin Paddy.
Bugs fixed:
- Music option had a problem where the values went from -1 to 100 instead of 0 to 100. (Reported by "GiantCanadianGinger")
- The stars sometimes could be seen for a short time in the middle of the screen before they really appear.
- The tutorial had a rare movement when you move the camera.
- The skill tree started with the camera in an incorrect place. Now it starts in the superior part and keep record of the last place youve been for the next time.
- Lucas (from the tutorial) also had a rare movement if you move the camera.
- Sometimes the tutorial could crash and won't go forward. Having as the only solution skip it to continue. (Multiple reports)
- The windowed mode had various problems. (Reported by Syliss)
- The reaper souls sometimes disappeared.
- An error sometimes made the troops advance over the conquerable building of the wave.
- If you skipped a lot of the weeks, the icons of resources got stuck.
- The reaper and watcher has the description changed(to fit with each one. (reported by Zone Q11)
- The skin Druid of the necromancer had a problem of colors on his back leg, making it dilute with the background.
- In the skin part, the dragon give some visual bugs when selected.
A player has reported an error with achievements:
- The yellow brick road.
- Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
- Dead men tell no tales They make them.
The 1.1.0 was launched two weeks ago, this update brought a lot of new things. Such as a new cover image, new transition, new victory screen, more sounds And in general a lot of things to excite the player experience. Sadly with this update there were a bunch of errors that have been reported. The biggest have been fixed thanks to a hotfix I tried to make the fastest I could, but some small ones could be there while Im still trying to fix them. But I think it is time to work on version 1.2.0. And here Ill leave a tentative content in the update. I have to say that various things have been proposed by you, the players. Ive been reading each comment that you post, because they help me to improve the Countless Army. The 1.2.0 will bring:
New things:
- Controller support. To give more options to players, adding the possibility to play with a joystick seems essential.
- Support for Steam Deck. My idea was to make Countless Army compatible with the console, and for the next update I want to do it.
- A button to reset the skill tree (Proposed by Lavan). As Lavan mentioned, the profession is something that you feel more than read, because you dont know how they will fit on your composition until you try it. To change the elections on the skill tree, a button to reset it is a good gamble.
- See all the shortcuts on the option menu(proposed by Lavan). Lavan mentions that theres some shortcut that isnt mentioned in any place and he is right. To afford this I added an option to said menu to see every keyboard shortcut or from the controller.
- A button to keep the army configuration (Proposed by McStuffins T. Fox). As McStuffins T. Fox mentions, actually if you use an army configuration that works and you dont want to change it, a button to use the same army from a previous invasion is a very good idea to speed up the troop selection.
- A button to end the actual wave (Proposed by McStuffins T. Fox). On some occasions we find that the objective has been conquered way easier than we thought previously, and then we have to wait until the wave ends to start the next one. With this button all the troops that are in the battlefield will die, and the ones that arent on it will disappear, giving place to the end of that wave.
- A pause button (Proposed by McStuffins T. Fox). As he says, if you play at high speed sometimes you cant think in which place you want your spells. For that a pause button will bring more strategy, pausing the game and launching the spells thinking better each movement.
Changes:
- Reduce rebellions. They are an important part of the game, but it is true that they happen more often than I like. For this reason the same will be reduced.
- The not upgradable stats will also be visible (*roposed by Lavan). Some units don't upgrade some stats and actually they cant be seen. Lavan mentions that those should be visible even if you cant upgrade them to compare it and then make better strategies. This will change making them visible.
Today the version 1.1.3 of Countless Army is released, a little hotfix to the biggest errors that you all reported. This one is focused on fixing the bugs that could make the game crash or that dont allow you to play the game correctly. Im reading everything you write and taking notes of the faults, even the ones that are little to fix them, but Im doing it in order. Im also reading all of your opinions and shortly Ill post a new notice talking about the things the version 1.2 will bring. Ive readed a lot of good ideas! So, lets see the changes and errors fixed:
Changes:
- Ive changed the way the game is compilated, this should make it be better optimized, allowing it to work in each dispositive and give less non consistent errors.
- The speed x8 that unlocks in the end game has been changed to x 6. The x8 made a lot of error(is still in test, it can give some errors but less than the x8).
bugs:
- The drake has an error when you summoned it, making everything after it to not be summoned.
- The necromancer had the CD wrong when you summoned it.
- The drake icon wasnt visible in the upgrades from the conquerable buildings.
- In the capital of the kingdom 2 the 2nd runic camp was conquered when the troops walked over the route on it.
- A visual bug where the shields appears under the troop.
- The tutorial sometimes crashed on the first wave.
- The necromancer could make the game crash if he made a summon when he entered to conquer a building.
- The mass could crash the game if died when he entered a building.
- The tutorial didnt get the golden skull if you have the map in 100%(dont worry, if you get the golden skill in the other maps the tutorial one will change to gold for the achievement of getting all the maps to 100%).
- Sometimes when you realize any action in an invasion the wave sign could disappear making it impossible to start a new wave.
- The troops count to win a map could be negative.
- The dragon could die in the defense trench of one hit.

Today finally arrives the version 1.1.0, in this notice I want to show every new thing it brings so lets get to it!
From the start, one of the more notable A new cover image!
It has been redesigned, but maintaining the old composition. This cover will be the one that represent Countless Army in every site, included the initial meno of the game
The other news is a compilation of the advances Ive published throughout the development of the version 1.1.0. If you have been looking every advance and want to see the patch notes, here is the link, that also will be in the end of this new.
Continuing i want to show the new victory screen:
As you can see, a soft introduction has been added. The victory screen starts slowly part by part, after the animation starts that is completely new, the other components pop in, the speed of the numbers of troops has been augmented A full face wash to this screen.
Besides, this change comes with new sound effects, that goes with the animation starts and the new troops apparition, conquered zones and obtained resources.
Also we have a new transition:
Animation and sounds have been added, making it smoother. Also some camera errors and other things related with transitions are fixed, making this part a lot more polished.
Also the troops will have new skins:
Each unit has two new skins that you can obtain with the gems in the game.
Remember those are free, you can unlock them while you play.
Next you can see some little changes, such as a little animation on the routes when you choose a unit:
With this you get a better glimpse of in which position you are placing a troop when you select them, by being more eye-catching.
The cards had changed, now you can choose less troops than cards you have in that moment:

A new unlockable unit has been added to the end game. The idea with this one is to have fun conquering all the kingdoms. I dont want to make a lot of spoilers so here is the silhouette:
Being a unit focused almost to active the easy mode, this one has a lot of power by itself and helps the surrounding units.

- The camera of skill tree were moving more that it needed(There was a kind of space to the sides)

- Sometimes, with specific conditions, the purchases on the skill tree could stay locked.
- Sometimes the spell upgrades were already acquired.
- In some maps the roads were poorly defined.
- In some maps some floor parts were placed wrong.
- The bridges on the small rivers sometimes could be seen over the troops and other decorations.
- The difficulty button in options sometimes had an error.
- If you win the six capital in hard the achievements of difficulty easy and normal werent unlocked.
- Some skins of the Standard bearer didnt have death animation.
- The troops hitbox sometimes received more hits than it was meant to.
- The shadows of some troops didnt appear as they should.
- The updates of conquering a build that could crash the game.
- Sometimes the upgrade number was corrupted, giving errors to the system of difficulty and their achievements.
- The music in the intro and some other occasions didnt play.
- One of the conquerabled buildings of the second kingdoms capital was conquered by itself.

As you can see, this transition is more interesting that the previous, besides being better ambiented. If you dont know which is the actual one, here take a look:

Today I want to show you one of the visual advances from the version 1.1.0, an update for the final screen when you conquer a map.
After getting some comments saying that the game needed some animations in parts of the game, I did a check up, here is one of the main issues:

This is for anyone that dont have the game yet, actually it looks like this:
As you can see, a new introduction was added making it smoother. The victory screen appears little by little, the stars animation is completely new and then slowly the other components, the apparition speed of troops numbers have been augmented Generally speaking, a new victory screen.
Also, this change introduced new sound effects, that are attached to the stars animation and to the new troops apparition, conquered buildings and resource obtained.

Hello! As you sure know, the 1.0.0 has been launched some time ago(in fact, some bug fixes has been raised it to 1.0.2) And I want to bring you the update of the roadmap, more specifically what 1.1.0 will contain.
1.1.0 will bring:
- New animations in some points of the game.
- New animations on the interface to make visually more clear what you are doing
- Minimaps in the selection of kingdoms 3, 4, 5, y 6.
- Cloud save
- A new unit
- Two skins to buy in each troop(If you have any idea let me know, Ill have it in mind)
- Fix of the cards mechanics making it able to buy new ones without acquire new troops before, and even start maps without all the troops.

Besides, the Demo has been updated to be smaller, and the game has been updated to end some things and improve others. Hello! I did this little update to include the thing that couldnt make it to the last one. Is a very small one, but as I said before, I want you all to have the basic things soon.

Hello everyone! The game has been updated today to 1.0.0. Besides things already mentioned in the roadmap, I bring some troop changes for balance and other that Josef_the_tall in the general discussions on Steam. In these notes I added the previous changes made on monday and tuesday.

- Steam achievements.
- The banshee has been reduced from 10 to 8 in quantity.
- The observer has been reduced from 10 to 8 in quantity.

Hello! Ive had some complaints about the difficulty, and even if I want a game that is a little complicated, I dont want to leave people without playing Countless Army because of this. For this reason and even if a big update is coming on the freeday, I want to bring you this quick update to fix it. Notes of version 0.9.2:
