Dear players.
First of all, I'd like to apologize to you all.
Due to a few issues found in the latest round of beta testing that could not be resolved quickly, we have decided to postpone the release of the game for 2 weeks. The delayed release date is November 15th.
By the fourth day of testing, we were receiving feedback from testers that during late game farming with some well-formed builds, the game's frame rate was difficult to maintain above 10 fps in the Ultimate Test (Endless Mode). We checked these data and found that the cause of this problem was that more than 100,000 animations were being played at the same time, but were not being recycled in time, leading to severe lag. Since the programmer who wrote this code had left several months ago, we could only modify this code very carefully and try to replace it gradually with a new algorithm. But it was not what we had hoped for, we updated the optimized solution through demo 3 times this week, which instead reduced the stability of the game. In addition, many bugs that had been fixed months ago reappeared again. After several rounds of discussions, we decided to roll back all the previous fixes and completely rework some inefficient code. This project (including development and testing time) is about to last 10 days, so we have changed the release date to November 15th.
Another issue we discovered during testing was that there wasn't enough content for endgame upgrades, resulting in a lot of excess resources that weren't being consumed, such as cells and potions. In order to give players a better endgame grinding experience, we will also develop a new Upgrading System in the next two weeks. In this system, players can consume cells endlessly to cultivate basic attributes, and convert less useful potions into hidden potions in the game to make more powerful organs!
