Introducing Soul Powers
We've expanded the utility of Soul Orbs by adding a handful of new Soul Powers to the game. These new powers will replace the default Soul Blast and can be found in chests and shops throughout the game. Each of the unlocked characters now starts with a unique Soul Power, too! The currently available Sou Powers are:
- Soul Blast: Blasts nearby enemies with trapped souls
- Soul Shield: Protect yourself from harm
- Soul Warp: Bend time to dodge enemies and projectiles
- Soul Rush: Rush forward dealing damage to anything in your path
- Soul Call: Call forth an ally to help you slay Death's minions
New Weapons, Totems, and Items
There are a bunch of new weapons and items to find including (but not limited to!): Owl Slayer, Glaive, Hive Totem, Copycat Totem, and the Ring of Ultimate Protection. Not only that, but items you've seen in chests or shops will not show up again in the same run.
How many ways can you defeat Death?
Maybe you can easily take down Death using your favorite combination of weapons and armor. But, can you defeat him using the rest of the items available in the game? Each time you kill Death, you'll earn a golden pedestal for each item you're carrying in the museum. See how many different combos you can use to rescue the Wizard!
Performance and Bug Fixes
We're constantly trying to improve the performance and stability of the game. To that end, we've added options to disable the lighting and/or particle effects. Also, we've fixed a bunch of bugs including some which caused the game to crash outright.
