Releases on August 29th!
Hello everyone! I hope you're having a fantastic day. This is
El Demso, developer of
ColorCoordination.
I wanted to do a Steam post just to test things out, never had the chance before as this is my first game that's being released on Steam. I feel a bit excited! I can't believe the game's release is only 3 days away.
It's been a long journey full of ups and downs, but I
somehow managed to get it done.
This wouldn't have been possible, though, without the support of some pretty awesome friends that volunteered to playtest the game, suggest ideas and even offered design advice in some cases.
As such, I wanted to say, from the bottom of my heart,
THANK YOU!
Alright, that's enough emotional stuff for now.
So... what's this game about?
In ColorCoordination you play as a freelance employee working at Silicrp, a company that developed a software called "ColorCoordination" in which you solve puzzles to train an AI called "CoCo". These puzzles consist of different colored blocks and spaces laid out in a grid and your goal is to place all the colored blocks in their respective colored spaces.
There's a catch though, you can't move the blocks one by one. Instead, you have to move them in unison!

That's the main mechanic of ColorCoordination. Moving blocks in unison. Though, things get a bit more complicated as you go deeper into the game. But you gotta see that for yourself!
How much does it cost and how long does it last?
NOTHING. NADA.
ColorCoordination is completely
FREE! And according to my highly accurate and data-driven research (not really) the game should last between
3-5 hours, depending on how much dialogue you get from CoCo, how quick you're at solving puzzles and if you're planning to go for the records, as each puzzle has an "optimal" amount of moves you can meet.
There's also some extra puzzles for those hardcore puzzle-solvers or completionists out there.
Speaking of completionists, the game will also feature
10 achievements!
These range from super easy to get (such as completing the tutorials) to very hard to get (such as meeting the records on the
50+ puzzles in the game).
That being said...
ColorCoordination is not just puzzles!
I've put a lot of effort in writing the plot for this game, and even if it's not super epic or expansive, I still like what I came up with.
I'm very fond of AI and robots in fiction and I love all the philosophical points they bring up. This is my first time writing a complete story, with a beginning, middle and an end that will be available to more people than just friends and family. So, I'm very eager for you to get through it and I hope you like it, even if that means solving more of those stupid puzzles!
Just remember-
And if you ever need help or want to discuss how to solve "Enyay" in 14 moves or something, consider joining our Discord!

We'll be glad to have you, especially if you love all things related to androids!
I think that's it... right?
Yeah, that wasn't so bad for a first post. Alright.
See you on August 29th!
