A DOG, AN ISLAND, AN UNFORGETTABLE ADVENTURE... AND A LOT OF PIZZA!
After an unexpected shipwreck, Toni, a pizza-obsessed sailor dog, finds himself stranded on the mysterious Salamino Island – a place inhabited by dogs, where cats have been banned for generations. To get back home, he must explore every corner of the island, uncover ancient secrets, and face an erupting volcano.
Can Toni transform the island, currently in chaos, into a peaceful paradise?

A LIVING ISLAND TO EXPLORE
Salamino Island features five unique towns, each with its own distinct characteristics, architecture, and inhabitants. From coastal villages to a vibrant metropolis, each area holds its own culture, challenges, and secrets waiting to be discovered.

SMART PUZZLE CHALLENGES
The island's dungeons are filled with creative puzzles and boss battles that will keep you on your toes. Don't worry – these challenges are fun and engaging without taking up hours of your time!

ADVENTURE BEYOND THE MAIN STORY
In addition to the main quest, Toni can assist the local museum in completing its collections or decorate his beach cabin with found items. There’s always something new to explore!

MINIGAMES TO UNWIND
Take a break from the adventure with fun activities! Grab your surfboard for a relaxing minigame or take on a pizza delivery challenge to satisfy the islanders’ hunger.

CASUAL COMBAT AND RELAXING GAMEPLAY
While combat isn’t the main focus, Toni can battle enemies in a laid-back way to earn some extra cash and take a mental break between the puzzle challenges.

Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for playing Toni Island Adventure and for all the feedback we\'ve received so far. We\'re currently working on the game\'s first patch, which will be released on August 6.
This update focuses on fixing bugs and making the experience smoother, especially for Steam Deck players.
If you run into any bugs, typos, or other issues, feel free to email us at hello@frolicstudio.fun.
What to Expect in v1.1:
The Game Boy ROM file will be included with the game files
[/*]Improved control rebinding support for the Steam Deck
[/*]Fixed an issue with the stick NPC in Bauport that could cause Toni to get stuck
[/*]Increased invulnerability frames after getting hit Fixed typos and text issues
[/*]Fixed a bug with a pizza delivery NPC that could stop progress in that quest
[/*]Smoothed out some hiccups in the last dungeons platforms
[/*]Fixed a bug that could cause the final boss to break in some situations
[/*]
Important Save File Warning:
Due to memory limitations from the Game Boy hardware, save files from version 1.0 will not work properly in version 1.1. If you want to keep your save or continue playing the original version, please back up your save file somewhere outside of the Steam folder before the update goes live (08/06).
Known Issues (Engine-related):
These issues come from the game engine and not from the game itself, but were doing our best to improve them.
Screen tearing and stuttering on high refresh rate monitors, especially on Windows
[/*]
What\'s Next?
This patch should cover most of the important issues. We dont plan to release frequent updates, but we will release a new patch if a major bug is found or something threatens player progress.\n\nWere also planning to add Steam achievements to the game. Since this requires some low-level programming work, it may arrive after this patch. That said, this addition wont affect your save file, as it doesnt involve changes to the game data itself.
Thanks again for being part of the launch and for all your support and understanding.
I\'m really proud of this little game and happy to keep improving it with your help.
