The latest patch brings major progress to both the Crusader Room system and the long-awaited Campaign Modeplus, tons of new combat updates, visual improvements, and early cinematic work! Check out everything thats new below: Rubys Crusader Room is Now Active! You can now enter Rubys personal Crusader Room. Feed her Cores to build your Starlink Rank, unlocking progress, and future gameplay rewards. Campaign Mode Now Available Campaign Mode has been added to the main menu! The Red Faction's campaign is currently available, featuring a single playable chapter. Additional factions and chapters will follow in future updates. Note: Short cinematics have been added to provide visual context. These are in an early, rough state and will be improved in future passes. Combat & Crusader Updates Dash stutter has been fixed movement now feels much smoother and more responsive. New Combo Attacks added for Sapphire and Queen, expanding their melee combat options. Sapphire's Blue Damage has been reduced for better balance, particularly with her status-based build-up playstyle. Visuals, UI & Map Improvements Green Faction Units have been visually overhauled, improving their clarity and style. Blue Faction Units have received updates to highlight personality and design variations between unit types. Lighting has been improved across several maps for better mood, visibility, and fidelity. Cel Shader Update: Improved overall color correction and visual clarity of the games signature cel-shaded look. UI & Performance Improvements Menu Screen Optimizations Reduced resource load and improved responsiveness. New Visuals on Menu Screen Includes updated backgrounds, UI elements, and minor animated effects. Optimizations to Spawned Units Improves in-game performance, especially on larger-scale skirmishes. Coming Soon This patch lays the groundwork for more Crusader Rooms, campaign chapters, and cinematic storytelling. This months update brings a major step forward in defining the identity of each faction and Crusader, alongside huge improvements to AI behavior, the fully functional Trader and Item System, and the official rollout of the new Tutorial Map! This change helps reinforce the personality of each Crusader and color faction, adding more clarity and variety to gameplay. Combat & AI Improvements AI Units can now spawn with modified blueprints that include prefixes and suffixes, creating more dynamic and unpredictable battles. AI behavior has been rebalanced for more aggressive, but fairer engagements across the board. Combat flow has been polished for smoother interactions and more strategic depth. Trader & Item System Now Fully Functional! You can now collect, save, sell, and transmute items using resources from the new Trader System. Items tagged as currency can be converted into resources for use in crafting, transmutation, or upgrades. Prefix and Suffix Mods are now fully implemented, giving each item unique passive effects and expanding potential build strategies. Crusader Room, Mission Mode & Story Still in Progress The Crusader Room System, along with Mission Mode and Story Content, is still under active development. These features will carry over into next month's update as the main focus going forward. Additional art polishing is underway for core models and UI components. Tutorial Map Now Complete! A fully reworked tutorial experience is now available. Designed for easy navigation and hands-on learning, this map helps new and returning players quickly understand each faction and system. Faction Color Customization Your selected faction can now be painted and saved between matches. Easily switch back to default faction colors at any time. New Modifier System (Prefixes & Suffixes) All items can now roll with modifiers that impact stats, abilities, or effects. Enables deeper item builds and greater strategic variety as you progress through the game. Each faction is receiving a unique HUD setup while in Commander Mode to help reinforce their identity, improve gameplay clarity, and make each playthrough feel more distinct. Whether you're controlling the tech-heavy Blue Faction or the fast-paced Red Faction, your HUD will now reflect that personality, making gameplay more immersive and easier to read at a glance. The Crusader HUD UI has also been overhauledbut this time with a universal design across all Crusaders. Since they share similar input layouts, the unified HUD ensures a consistent experience no matter who you're playing, while still feeling sleek and responsive. Every faction, unit, and Crusader now sounds more immersive, combat hits feel weightier, and building placement has been improved for better clarity. Plus, ragdoll physics and new kill effects have been added to make battles even more dynamic! Crusader attacks now sound more impactful, with improved audio feedback for abilities and effects. New hit marker sound and visual effect to provide stronger feedback on successful attacks and kills. The goal is to make menus more user-friendly, visually engaging, and fully navigable with both controllers and mouse & keyboard. My goal is to nail the anime aesthetic while standing out among other anime-inspired games. Im also focusing on making sure the lighting highlights the best features of each girl in the scene, drawing the player's eye naturally. Theres still a lot of work to do, but Im determined to keep going!

Reduced Screenshake on Large amount's of Combat action Reduce Knockback effect, updated music cycleing
Greetings, Commanders! Were excited to bring you a fresh wave of updates, including new combat mechanics, faction-specific features, and essential fixes. Lets dive into whats new: New Features Knock-Up Effect Introduced a new Knock-Up mechanic to combat. Players can now sustain defeated units in the air for extended combos and visual flair. Structures are also affected by the knock-up mechanic, adding a new layer of strategic gameplay and destruction. Faction Color Status System Added a new status effect system tied to faction colors. Each faction now applies unique mechanics during combat: Red Faction Status Effect: All attacks now apply a stacking red aura effect. At 100 stacks, the status effect triggers, resetting the stacks. Effect Trigger: Causes an explosive fire AoE, dealing 17 damage to all units and structures within the radius. AI Improvements Tweaked AI behavior for enhanced tracking and aggression. Expect AI opponents to respond more intelligently and with increased combat pressure. Bug Fixes Event Spawn Bug Fixed an issue where event triggers would duplicate unexpectedly. Events now properly remove themselves immediately upon activation, ensuring smoother progression. Development Cycle Update We are shifting from a weekly update cycle to a monthly update schedule as we hit several major milestones in development. Micro-updates will still be deployed as needed to address minor bugs and fixes.
