Hello and Happy Halloween! Spooky month is here; as promised, we have a big surprise! Today, we are finally able to say what that surprise is! We have a new Halloween Demo with some spooky surprises available NOW on Meta Quest and Steam! We also whipped up this cool teaser video to prepare you all! [previewyoutube=e_CqBfW7TL8;full][/previewyoutube] Here are the patch notes, but do be warned this does contain some SPOILERS for the new demo, so please read after playing if you want to avoid any sort of spoilers!
Halloween: - Added Halloween decorations to the Menu Area - Added a new Halloween variant of the Main Menu theme Gameplay: - The Flashlight no longer has to be shaken! Now you have to recharge it by keeping it off (you can toggle it on and off with the index trigger) - Added battery percentage counter to flashlight to monitor your battery level. - Added a new extended Intro Cutscene - Reworked Ending Cutscene and added new music! Visuals/Other: - Updated Enemy Character look and gave it new animations - Made the Flashlight a grabbable object you can pick up instead of locking it to the player's hand - Made grabbable objects highlight green when in grabbing range to make it clear that they are grabbable - Lights now flicker out instead of turning off instantly during the intro sequence - Added a new 'quote' splash screen after hitting start before the level loads. - Added player voice lines! - Added Native 90hz Support, so the game now, by default, runs at 90fps! - Rebaked lighting at a higher resolution so that it looks even better! - Added doors to the door frames because why wouldn't a bedroom or bathroom have doors on them? (That's just weird). - Updated Credits
We believe this demo reflects more of what we have been doing in the main game, but there is so much new content you will only be able to experience in the full game. As always, thank you so much for your continued support, and we can't WAIT to deliver the full game as soon as it is ready for you all to play! Happy Halloween, and be sure to keep an eye on those windows

In The Obsessive Shadow, you take on the role of Liam, a 9-year-old
boy left alone in his home after the power suddenly goes out, plunging
the house into suffocating darkness.
Armed with only a flashlight, you must navigate the unsettling dangers
of the night as you are being watched throughout the night.
Your mother's voice on the phone is your guide to surviving,
But as her instructions grow more confusing and the unease deepens,
the safety of her words begins to feel increasingly fragile.
Something is watching, a shadowy figure moving just out of sight,
waiting for you to slip up.
As the hours creep forward, the once-familiar home becomes an
unfamiliar labyrinth of fear, each corner hiding the possibility of
confrontation with the lurking entity.
Testing your courage and instincts as you struggle to stay one step
ahead of the unseen threat. Your mother's voice remains your
lifeline,
but survival demands more than just following her instructions—it
requires vigilance,
quick thinking, and a determination to face the overwhelming dread.
Will you endure the relentless terror and make it to morning, or will
the suffocating darkness claim you before dawn?
